Purchasing a gorgeous lipsticks or gloss is an inexpensive way for us to treat ourselves when that Little Black Dress is a bit over budget.
And if that lip colour not only gives great colour but also leaves our lips looking hydrated and healthy then our self-esteems definitely get a boost.
Enter the Absolute Ultra Wear lipstick SPF15 and Ultra Glazewear Absolute lipgloss SPF15 from Avon that not only inject lips with a healthy dose of colour but also hydrate and protect them.
Avon’s clever little lipstick is enriched with super nourishing ingredients like Phytol, Vitamins C and E, collagen and an SPF of 15, with added antioxidants that provide protection from everyday evils like the sun and air pollution. Innovative technology allows your lips to still enjoy the benefits of the ingredients even after you’ve taken it off! Thanks to light reflecting pigments in the creamy formula, lips appear fuller and colour is reactivated when lips are pursed together, so the colour keeps on coming.
Lipgloss is great if you don’t want to commit to a strong colour but still want a subtle hint on your lips. The Ultra Glazewear Absolute lipgloss SPF15 is packed with 6 lip beautifying benefits including colour, softness and shine. Self-renewing pigments give a superior pop of colour and shine, while natural ingredients like Shea Butter instantly smooth out the appearance of fine lines, leaving you with a deeply moisturised, perfectly glossy pout, without the stickiness.
And with gorgeous names like Creamy Coral, Heavenly Honey and Renewing Rose, who can resist?

3 STEPS TO LUSCIOUS LOOKING LIPS:
Step 1: Choose your colour
Wondering what hue is for you? Choose a shade that’s based on your lips natural colour, not your skin tone. If your lips are pale then opt for corals or cherry reds while naturally reddish lips can pull off hot pinks, oranges, corals or cranberry reds. Dark lips look seductive in brick reds or burgundies. Whether you’re into bold juicy hues or soft, sheer shades, there’s a colour for you in the new Avon line of lip colours.
Step 2: Prep your lips
Nothing looks worse than a beautiful lip colour on dry, flaky lips. Exfoliate your lips using a damp wash cloth. Gently rub your lips with the wash cloth to remove any dry, dead skin. Apply a drop of eye cream to your lips to moisturise and prepare them. Eye creams absorb better into the lips compared to lip balms which tend to sit on top of the skin. Allow it to absorb fully before applying your lip stick or gloss.
Step 3: Apply your colour
Whether you’re using a gloss or lip stick always start applying your colour at the centre of your bottom lip and work outwards. Never apply it to the corners of your mouth unless you want to look like a clown. To make lipstick last longer, apply it straight from the tube, blot with a tissue, then swipe it on again. The blotting will create a base while the second coat will add shine.
