Primer isn’t only for prepping your face, there are many ways to use this skin saver beyond its prime purpose.
Use it on its own: Primer can be used as a highlighter, apply it to your cheek bones and down the bridge of your nose to accentuate your features.
Use it on your body: Applied to your neck, chest and the backs of your hands, primer can make skin look younger as it smooths out the appearance of fine lines or dare we say it, wrinkles. A yellow tinted primer can also conceal bruises as the yellow neutralises blue tones.
On your lips: Primers can stop your lip sticks and stains from drying out, or bleed. Simply apply a primer beforehand to keep everything hydrated and in place.
On your face: We know that primers can smooth out fine lines but to really conceal deep wrinkles you should dab on your primer using a foundation brush. We’ve all been guilty of over indulging in the sun and more often than not end up with a sunburnt nose. While we don’t encourage bathing in the sun, primers with a green tone can help to neutralise the redness of sunburnt skin.
