Clinique Sonic System Brush

I have never used a tool like this to clean my skin and must say that I was a bit skeptical about the bristles.

BUT WHY?!

The bristles are soft, yet firm enough to clean away makeup and impurities. I have been suffering from severely dehydrated skin the last couple of weeks and by midday my skin is so dry and flaky. Having my skin cleaned with this amazing brush was such a treat. Afterwards my skin was clearer, smoother and all the flakiness was gone.

I would really like to own one of these to use in combination with my Clinique skincare products , in order to renew my skin!

How to use:
It is a very deep cleasing technique suggested that it be used once a day.
1.Remove all make up before use .
2.Apply cleanser or cleansing lotion to damp wet skin
3.Then use the Clinique Sonic System Brush massage your cheek area in circular motion for 15 seconds gently.
4.For your t-zone area ,massage gently in an up ,down motion
5.Rinse your face and complete the rest of your steps of your routine skin care .
6.Rinse the Clinique Sonic System Brush head after each use.
7.Recommend change the brush heads after 3 months ,just like a tooth brush head.

I booked by my appointment and gosh! it was an experience that exceeded my expectation. I arrived at the Clinique counter and what a friendly reception and informative. The Clinique Sonic cleansing brush was I amazingly softer than I had expected, the cleansing was perfect, I could notice the effect on my skin almost instantly! My skin definitely felt much more matte, smoother, soft, less oily. I would definately use it for my cleasing routine. Its the best advanced technology ever. Thank you Clinique.

I can't say much about how it works, as I have never tried it before, however I have read the testimonies, and I have read the reviews and it sounds like a real skin saver.

I am in my late 20's, I'm a mom of two boys, and I still suffer from acne, which, if you are like me you will know this, is truly embarrassing. No one past high school with kids of their own wants to look, or feel like a teenager anymore.

I try my best to keep my face clean, however, wearing a lot of make-up does clog my pores quite badly, and admittedly I don't want to go without the make-up as it exposes my acne and scars.

I have a combination skin, with more of an oiliness to it than it being dry, and on top of that it is sensitive as well. Being very careful and limited to what I can use, as price does play a big part as well in the products I buy, I am truly ecstatic to read that it works wonders on sensitive skin as well.

I don't need a quick fix, I do have patience, however I do want something that works, and will show results with patience and time. The Clinique Sonic System Brush sounds like the perfect solution to my skin "problem".

The clinique Sonic brush system sounds amazing, i would love this for my skin, life is rushed as it is, especially in the mornings with having to get kids ready.. at least I can use this wonderful brush to gently deep cleanse my face, in a gentle relaxing manner.. even if it is only for 30 seconds :-)I would love my mornings to start like this

Just yesterday (17 Nov), I was watching one of my favourite bloggers, Nabillabee use this. I've never used one before and I am dying to try it out. I have been using Clinique for many years, since I started working, but have NEVER used a brush on my face. Summer is coming, and I am in dire need of fresh, radiant skin. I have never tried any face brushes before , then I heard about Clinique Sonic Brush. I was sceptical since my face is sensitive but I told my self I would try it. I went to Edgars and the ladies there were very informative and friendly. I loves the fact that it's small it can perfectly fit in my hand , it's soft and vibrats to give my face a clean and a fresh feeling. The fact that it also kills gems on my face is a bonus. With all the foundations and face creams we put on our skins we really need to keep our faces clean and germ free. This Clinique Sonic Brush is a must have for me

I had glanced at some of the other reviews of the Sonic System Brush so was pretty much expecting something akin to having an electronic toothbrush used on the back of my hand. I was thus pleasantly surprised when the Clinique consultant asked whether she could show me how the brush worked on one half of my face so that I could compare. It is nothing like a rotating electric toothbrush, as the head does not turn but the bristles oscillate. It deep cleanses and yet it is so gentle it did not rip a moistened tissue all thanks to sonic technology. Two types of bristles on the brush help to get to all the nooks and crannies. The green bristles are especially effective on the more breakout prone T-zone.

Apart from worrying about it being too harsh I also thought it might tickle but my fears were unfounded. It was very relaxing and probably a good thing that it has a 30 second timer otherwise I may just stand there forever. My skin looked more refined and felt a lot softer afterward. Once at home I even cleaned and moisturised the other side of my face as per normal and the half that was cleansed with the Clinque Sonic System Brush still felt smoother and my pores looked smaller and refined.

Price wise it may seem a little steep for some at R 1 600 but that’s no more expensive than a decent hair straightener. The Clinique Sonic System Face Brush is completely waterproof and when on the charging unit the LED light indicates when it is fully charged. The head with bristles is replaceable and for hygiene reasons should be replaced every 3 months, the only way that the sonic brush reminds me of a toothbrush. The consultant informed that this is only the beginning if the campaign and in the future various other interchangeable heads such as those to exfoliate or massage will be available. So by using just a little common sense the brush should last you much longer than the 2 year guarantee it comes with and may soon be multi-functional just by changing the head. So taking all that into account the price does not seem unreasonable and I think this will be a hit for Clinique.

I was super excited when i received the email, I thought wow, here's another ray of hope that might banish my pigmentation, I was kinda disappointed that i could not try it on my face but, I'm glad to say that I like the effect it had on my hand.

I've always used a brand new tooth brush for my face when i cleanse had heard before that cleansing works wonders when you are using a brush so i bought a toothbrush for my face but now i'm glad there's a system brush!

I will sure try it and review hope it works like magic more than my toothbrush hahahaha :)

I was disappointed at the fact that i was not allowed to test it on my face, although for hygiene reasons it was understandable.
They tested it on my hand and I loved the feeling of the brush on my skin. Tingly yet gentle.
My skin has never been great (at all!) So i believe anyone suffering from skin issues could really benefit from this brush especially if you are like me and suffer from blackheads like, everywhere.
I LOVE the fact that its lightweight, compact and is rechargeable! YAY for no wires!
The automatic timer is also a huge plus and I love that too.
The clinqiue lady was incredibly special and helpful. Clinique is a truly customer orientated company and their efforts are not unrecognized, well done clinique!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and I now fully understand the hype around the Clinqiue sonic brush!
I will be creating social media madness around this product, as i know that this could possibly mean the end of my tear filled, awful skin days!

Not only does it cleanse the skin, the mild massaging action also targets nasty things like blackheads, clogged pores, oily skin and many other skin care mightmares. The circulation motion and soft brushing actions works, together with Cliqnie products to create a fresh faced you with a lovely glow.

Here is what I thought:

So, I made the appointment to try out this brush for myself. The Cliqnie team was most friendly and helpful. They gave a bit of detail on the brush , explained functions and benefits before the treatment began. I love Clinique products but always been put off by the price.

During the session they also explianed how the brush makes the Clinique 3 step skin care regime so much easier and best of all, you only need to use the brush once daily for a good clean.
So, they removed my make up first and then applied some of the Liquid Facial cleanser for normal skin to the brush head. Then, they massage the skin lightly for 10 to 15 min to ensure cleanser has been absorbed throroughly in circular movements followed by another 10 minutes of up and down movements.

And that is it for the brush. I rinsed my face with some fresh water and applied some moisturising and toning products.

Overall, my experience was interesting because I have never used anything like this before. Like with all new technologies and products, I did feel a slight abrasive impact on my skin which I did not like but it did not last very long and my skin looked and felt good and healthy.

If I had to get me one of these, I would probably only use it once a week for a good deep cleansing treatment, no more than that.

The brush is also very versatile, compact, comes with a chord to plug in and recharge and carry bacg to take it with you wherever you go.


A great innovation and addition to the skin care range!

The Clinique Sonic Brush provides deep cleansing, revealing squeaky clean skin and it has two different bristles that thoroughly clean all the contours of my face effortlessly.

I usually wake up, to discover make-up residue, left over from the day before. This is after the whole cleansing, toning and moisturising process.

Product wastage is reduced due to the brushing action. I definitely wont need to use as much product as I would when manually cleansing my skin.

I have also found that cleansing this way helps increase blood circulation and thereby increasing collagen production.

I am very impressed how my skin was cleaned thoroughly and would highly recommend that this product be incorporated as part of your skin care routine.

I've never own cleansing brush,but I would 2 own it 1day!!

I bought the facial cleanser in the dischem dqip line and was v happy with the deep exfoliative and thorough but gentle cleanse it gave me! I also saved by using so much less of my cleansing products! The brush on this device is incredibly gentle but efficient! I'd really love to own one of these!

I don't know. I would be a little apprehensive to use a brush on my face.
