This is the perfect kit for your eyes and includes a primer, colours, a topcoat, TWO applicator sponges and a how to guide – what more could you want? These palettes are available in virtually every shade from blues to to nudes and dark, sultry shades. We especially enjoyed the sparkly shades in the palette that add that extra feminine touch. The colours weren’t as vivid upon application, however they are relatively long lasting and leave a professional look.

The Bobbi Brown Sheer Brights for Eyes Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow can be used as an eye shadow or as a highlighter under the brow bone. We tried the eyeshadow in French Blue. When applied the light blue shadow leaves a subtle iridescent blue on your lids. For a vivid blue shade apply a few layers of this shadow. This high end product is long lasting with a silky formula, is easy to use and great for blending.

The variety of shades allow you to create multiple looks for day and night. Just pop it in your handbag and glam up your look at the office before hitting the town, it works for us. Given all the great colours you get in this palette it really is great value for money.

The smokey eye is a no fail look for a night out and with the Rimmel Glam Eyes Quad Eye Shadow in Smokey Noir you can easily achieve this look. The four shades, ranging from blacks, greys and silver, allow you to complete your look in four easy steps. For ease of application Rimmel also provide users with a how-to diagram on the back of the palette. We love all the shades and found application a breeze; however the colours aren’t as long lasting as we would have liked, but that won’t deter us from using this product again.

Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette.
This clever palette from Stila includes a balanced selection of shimmery and matte eyeshadows that can be used alone or together. Feeling rather uninspired we were very excited to see that the palette included an informative and fun look book to help you create new and exciting looks. A particular favourite shade of ours was Kitten, which helped us to create the perfect cat’s eye! Even better, each of the shades can be used wet or dry for more subdued or intense looks. The palette also includes a waterproof Smudge Stick to line your eyes with, and it lasts!
