Lamelle Clarity Corrective AM

I worked with Lamelle and saw some amazing results with the Clarity Range. One of my clients suffered with oily skin, blackheads and breakouts so I suggested that she tried the Clarity AM and Clarity PM to start with. She got the whole range and when she returned one month later for her chemical peel I was amazed by what I saw, her skin was clear and oil was under control, what an awesome feeling to get results like that! This range is very effective but caution needs to be taken with the night cream as it contains very strong Vitamin A which can irritate the skin if not used correctly!

So after my previous post, I decided to return to my original review to post feedback after using this product for some time;

In my previous review I mentioned that this product does not dry out the skin, well I hate to admit that I was wrong. My skin did dry out and aggravated my occasional eczema.

This product does help with breakouts, inflammation, spots & blemishes for sure. BUT do be aware if you have dry skin/eczema etc; maybe use it every second day until the eczema flareup has gone away.

I now give this product 3 "stêrretjies" due to the fact that I can no longer use this every day. Effective for problem skin, but not good for overall skin health.

Will try this product again in summer when my skin tends to be more oily. Those with oily skin will most probably love this product!!

(I have been informed by another therapist that Lamelle is more cosmetic than skin care ... and this has me worried)

Since the start of high school I can remember acne/blemishes being an issue. Skin went from super oily to combination to extremely dry (due to medication back then). I have purchased so many skin products in my lifetime, that I honestly think I could have bought me something really amazing with all that money spent. I went from holistic ranges to expensive brands like Dermalogica back to cheaper products such as Like Silk and on and on the list goes.

Recently my skin therapist/friend recommended I try Lamelle Clarity Corrective AM. Its lightweight & does not dry out the skin like most acne treatments do. Benefits include; anti-infective, exfoliant, wound healing, anti inflammatory and antibacterial. Can be used both mornings and evenings and you do NOT have to purchase their entire range. (like most companies want you to) :) I also asked the Lamelle team questions online regarding the product before purchasing it & they responded with all the answers I needed.

I paid R435 for a 50ml tub which is rather pricey, but if you take into consideration the benefits this cream provides as well as how little is required at a time, I definitely think this is worth it. The container is STUNNING (you press down on what looks like a lid in order for the product to come oozing out - NO contamination)

I would definitely recommend this to a friend/family member/colleague with acne/blemish concerns as this cream targets all that while moisturising your skin without the greasy oily feeling. Suitable for all skin types and ages.
