With the comeback of the choker chain and all things 90s this season, we’re also seeing a revival of coloured mascara. Gone are the days of drab monochrome winter wardrobes and pale, lifeless winter complexions – colour is back!

We’ve seen celebrities like Cara Delevingne rock this look in purple on the Stella McCartney Show runway, while on the Red Carpet, stars like Olivia Munn and Lea Michelle have been spotted wearing a similar shades.

GET THE LOOK:

1) Pick a colour that’s right for your skin tone and apply it to your top and bottom lashes. Blue is considered universally acceptable for all eye colours; purples are best for green or blue eyes, and greens are great for brown-eyed girls. To really make a splash, opt for eye-popping reds and pinks.

2) Be sure to keep the rest of your makeup minimalist. A strong eye contrasts nicely with a nude lip, soft contouring and blush.
