Essence Stay All Day 16h Long-lasting Make-up

If you are looking for a full-coverage base, this is not for you.
The base works well on my skin as long as I use concealer as well as it does not offer full coverage.
However, for the price, it is amazing.
If you are trying to cover simple things such as freckles, this is for you.

I use this foundation on a daily basis, after first applying a primer and/or BB cream as I have dry skin. It is lightweight, with fair coverage and is natural looking - not cakey at all. I have found that it does not last a full 16 hours without some form of a setting spray, but for the price it is a great product that I will definitely continue to purchase.

I am pleasantly suprised with the quality of this essence foundation. It is very affordable but the only negative thing is the shade range is horrible. I am fair skinned and have to mix the lightest shade with a whitener. But as far as the formula, application, lasting, ect this is a great product. It comes with a pump and in a plastic bottle which makes it travel friendly. I apply this foundation with a brush after applying primer. I do not set it with powder and it truly lasts all day! Essence please just get it together with the shade range! You can purchase this foundation at Clicks, Dischem or online.

Lovely foundation - liked it very much, but unfortunately, though, it seems to affect my eyes. My eyes become irritated and red. Not sure what is in the foundation that is causing this.

I probably bought this for the second time and both times during this humid Durban summer.. Its light and airy and perfect if you want to use foundation on a day to day basis to college or work yet don't want something heavy.

Coverage is fair, consistency is almost as good as some of the expensive brands I own.. The smell is lovely as well.

I follow with a dab of powder to get a little bit more wear out of this foundation.. Doesn't last 16 hours for me but long enough to make a difference..

I love this product! I suffer from oily skin as well as two tones so I'm constantly trying to find products that will keep my skin hydrated as well as matte for the longest time during the day.
On purchase of this product I also had acne spots on my face and was using skin care products to remove the spots. My biggest fear was that this product would interfere with my skin healing process but little did I know that I was in for the best time of my life.
The product is amazing, if you're using the correct shade you'll find that it becomes you second skin. Also, if you're the type that likes the "natural" make up look, this foundation is for you. It stays and absorbs into your skin just perfectly well! The finishing look gives you an even tone and matte look that lasts for hours regardless of oily skin.

Also, the price is perfect - especially if you're working on a student budget.

I am absolutely in love with this product!
It has great coverage and is not at all oily -which is a bonus for people like me, with oily skin. It is easy to use in a pump action bottle, making it mess free. Not to mention it is so much cheaper than all the other foudations I have tried.

It also works well for day or night make-up. No flaking and the shade works brilliantly with my skin.

I think this product totally blew me out of the water! Not because its the best product ive ever used but if you compare the price and the quality and look at other products that looks/feels/do almost the same , its just made me feel like an idiot to have ever paid so much more!
On the packaging , its in a long narrow round bottle with a push pump to disperse the product inside. The bottle is plastic which makes it a no stress product to carry around or transport.

On the product, its a liquid foundation that applies very easy with a nice semi-full coverage look and its build-able, which makes its great for evening fuller makeup or or a day more natural looks. It dries quite quick when you apply it so I advice that you use a serum/moisturizer before you apply it or even mix a few drops of facial oil into it. I don't think it last 16 hrs but it does last almost all day if used with primer and powder. It feels lightweight on the face unlike other full coverage foundations. I would have like them to have maybe a few more shades to ensure perfect skin matches, but even with my foundation a little bit to dark for my skin you will never find me without it.

This is an amazing product for all day every day use. Its a cheaper alternative for some of my high-end foundations.

This foundation is really affordable and effective! The foundation stayed on for the entire day and I didn't have to worry about having to apply any of my essence cover stick (which you should definitely try). The only problem I had with the product is that I couldn't find a shade that matched my skin tone! The colours seem to be a little orange on my face and the lighter colours look white?
But if you find the right shade it is definitely worth a try!!

This is a great all day wear foundation at a reasonable price. My only problem is that I could not find a shade that matched my skin color. It was either to light or too dark lol and ended up mixing it with another shade :-(

I love this foundation. I use it everyday and have for the last year and a half. This light weight foundation sits on the face like a cloud and lasts all day long. It has a lovely texture and smells pretty good. If you have never tried this foundation before, I highly suggest that you give it a try. It works great for combination/dry skin types.

I highly recommend this product.
