Wearing the perfect mascara is an important aspect of applying make-up. Defined lashes complete the eyes and it’s therefore worth finding the one that works for you.
Here are some tips:
You should toss out your mascara every 3 months due to bacteria housed in the container. If you get an eye infection you should bin then and there
Don’t wear water proof mascara every day, it is more difficult to remove than regular mascara and all the rubbing around the eyes encourages your lashes to fall out and you stretch the delicate skin in that area
If you would like your mascara to last longer don’t pump air into the container when you are trying to get more product onto the applicator wand. Rather scrape the wand around the inside edge of the container and gain more product that way. Generally smudge proof/water proof mascaras are sometimes drier than regular mascaras and they don’t seem to last as long – so keep your mascara lid tightly closed.
Black mascara creates the strongest illusion – you can use a softer brown if you don’t normally wear make-up.
If you are allergic to mascara, tint your lashes to create some definition.
Use a clean mascara wand to separate lashes that clog together during applicationIt’s up to you how thick you want to apply your mascara – it’s a matter of taste .
I use Mac Pro Lash as my mascara of choice. However, there are so many options available, with a bit of trial and error you will find your perfect match. Bare in mind go cruelty free! Oh and by the way EVERY cosmetic house will say their brand has not been tested on animals if you ask. Hmmmm so just do a quick on line search to make sure your mascara of choice has not been tested in bunnies eyes and then apply away.
