It’s ALMOST SUMMER!

Almost the end of the year and the season to Party and look Beautiful. There are lots of new clubs opening and tons of stunning events happening all over the mother city.  Summer is the time to wake up early and hang out with your friends while looking stunning  with a Sleek Sexy look what more could you ask for.  Summer most likely means you will be outside a lot, and be in the view of others. You want to look great, right? Follow these steps and you can achieve an absolutely stunning and HOT look for this summer.

Do you ever see a girl who has super-sleek hair and wonder how she got it so straight and perfect? It doesn’t take a lot of effort, and it looks so glam and gorgeous it’s perfect for any occasion and event. With a few hair products and the right tools and technique, you can get super-straight hair too so let’s get started.

Start by Shampooing and then towel-dry your hair. Brush your hair to detangle it, starting from the bottom and working your way up to your roots so it doesn’t break be careful and take your time.

Apply a heat protectant all over your hair. You only need a very tiny amount otherwise your hair will look oily. If it’s a spray, use about one or two sprays that should be enough. If it’s liquid, apply a tiny amount to your hand and start applying it from the bottom of your hair, working your way up. It’s always better to use less than more.

Start to Blow-dry your hair. If you are in a rush and don’t feel like blow drying then just dry off your hair till its 100 % bone dry
Section off  your hair to make it easier to straighten.

Start by Sectioning the top half of your hair as if you’re going to make a half-ponytail and use a hair clip or hair tie to keep the section in place.

For the loose bottom hair, you can section it in either two or three sections depending on how thick your hair is.

Remove the clip or hair tie from one of the sections. Don’t start with a section that is too thick because the heat from the hair straightener might not go through the hair and straighten it dead straight. Remember the Smaller the sections the Sleeker the look.

Put the hot straightener around the hair section close to your roots, but not close enough to your head that it’s going to burn you. Glide the straightener down, slightly turning  the straightener outwards.

This way, the bottom of the hair does not go in, since you want pin-straight hair. Make sure that you don’t curve the straightener too much, because you can also curl your hair with a straightener. Depending on the thickness of your hair, you may need to do the same section a few times.

Straighten the remaining sections of hair. You may need to make smaller sections depending on the thickness of your hair. Just remember as you’re moving the straightener down your hair to pull it outwards just slightly to create super-straight  tips. Once your done make sure your hairstyle looks pin straight and then you’re ready for what summer has waiting for you.
