Beauty Problem?…….SOLVED!
1.1. Problem: Tired red eyes.
- Opt for blue- toned eye-shadows rather than pink or purple shades.
- Use eye-drops to soothe and take away any redness. Try ‘Similasan Homeopathetic dry eye relief’ eye-drops
- Try lining the inner rim of your eye with a white or cream pencil to ‘open’ up the eye.
- Soothe under eye soreness or puffiness with a silicone and caffeine based ‘pep me up’. Our favourite?
‘Fast response eye cream’
from MAC.

- 2. Problem: Laughter lines
- Try a light reflecting concealer to disguise laughter lines like ‘Smashbox’s Photo Op Concealer’
This works great
- Using a good eye make up remover at night, will reduce unnecessary rubbing and friction to your eye area.
- Wearing sunglasses whenever venturing outdoors, helps one not to squint! A good excuse to buy an ultra trendy designer pair, as it’s not just for aesthetic purposes! If in doubt whether your shades have adequate UVA and AVB protection, pop into your nearest optometrist and get them to check out the lenses for you.

- 3. Problem: Make up that slides.
- Use a primer underneath your foundation. Professional make-up stores will all have a range of primers, which help make up last longer on the skin. The skin primer acts as a base onto which your foundation will adhere to. Primers not only alleviate oiliness and boost your foundations staying power- they also give your skin a smoother, silkier appearance.
- Try blotting your face during the day with blotting film .These are like little chamois towelettes for the face. They absorb excess oil, but do not remove any of your existing foundation. Face can be powdered thereafter, and you will not be powdering over the ‘oil’ as it where.

- 4. Problem: Lip lines
- Once again, a primer will smooth out uneven lips that have obvious ridges or lines.
- Also try exfoliating lips regularly – use an old tooth brush to gently brush away bits of loose skin
- Invest in a good lip protectant. Preferably one that moisturisers, but also doesn’t allow your lips to be dependant on it! We love ‘Blistex’
