MAC 130 short duo fibre brush

Can I just say – OH MY WORD. This brush is amazing! Every single person that I have used this brush on has commented on how soft and awesome it feels. I personally prefer this stippling brush for foundation opposed to the normal paintbrush type of foundation brushes sold in stores. The reason for this is that it has a blend of natural bristles and synthetic fibres. The duo fibres allow for even foundation distribution and it picks up just the right amount of product. The shape and type of fibres allow you to buff in the foundation for a flawless airbrushed look. You can also build the foundation according to your coverage preferences and needs. The brush does originally shed some hair, but that stops after a few washes. Once washed, the brush retains its original shape and look, which is great, as it is a problem among makeup brushes in general. This brush retails for R440 at MAC stores, and is available readily. It also has 2 big brothers called the 187 Duo Fibre Face Brush 188 Small Duo Fibre Face Brush. I would not recommend these for foundation, but could be great for blending and application of powders or creams. Bottom line - Everyone should have a MAC 130 brush. www.thecatbox.co.za
