Using Alkod hair tonic twice a day (morning and evening) does reduce hair loss. You would just apply to the scalp and massage in. No washing out afterwards and it dries quickly.

Amazing product recommended to me by a friend for hair.
This did not just prevent hair loss but actually helped my hair grow really well and fast .
It does have a strong smell but it evaporates very quickly so you can still use it when going out .
Its worked so well for me , that I have recommended it to others and also got positive feedback from them .

A family friend suggested I try out this product, and I'm glad I did.. Due to exam stress, my hair just falls off, in chunks! So I got myself a bottle of Alkod, from dischem, for around R80-90, and transferred it into a spray bottle, and I apply it to my scalp when I get out the shower, only on days that I wash my hair.. You apply it to the scalp, massage it in for a minute or two, then dry and style as normal.. This product did minimize my hair fall and gives my hair volume as well.. Great for anyone whose hair doesn't like staying on their head!

Best product I've ever used to reduce hair loss. I haven't tried the shampoo and conditioner of this range, but I'd imagine they're are pretty good as well. After a couple weeks of using this I noticed I wasn't clogging the bath with hair anymore when washing my hair. I haven't used it in some time because I leave for work at 6am, but if used twice a day it really does make a difference.
