After waiting in eager anticipation for my Rapid Rose Ultra Colour Bold lipstick and Big and Daring volume mascara to arrive, I have used both products a number of times over the past couple of weeks. I am older (47) so am not entirely sure that ultra bold colour lipstick is me and the shade I selected, Rapid Rose, seems closer to the Bright Nectar in hue as it has a more corally hue, however I must say that I love the way it goes on and doesn't seem to dry out the lips... it also has reasonably good staying power.
As far as the mascara is concerned, I do have rather sensitive eyes and the mascara doesn't seem to irritate as some mascara's do. I think the main reason for this is that it really is smudge (and water) proof and stays on! Although I generally prefer a straight wand, the curved wand doesn't make application too tricky and definitely gives nicely defined volumised lashes.
Avon products are definitely right up there in terms of price and most certainly quality.
