The first thing I notice about Avon Big & Daring Volume Mascara is its chubby fluffy brush. The bristles are soft and dense and brush has a subtle curve. The brush holds onto a ton of product so the first coat is basically like two coats. There’s a ton of volume and density at the roots (just watch the tips for clumps.) My lashes are super black and are coaxed out into a cat-like shape. The formula dries quickly, so I recommend applying the second coat before moving onto your other eye.
The second coat takes your lashes to the fake-lash territory, which I love but it might be too much for the casual mascara user. At my midday touch-up, my lashes were super brittle so I didn’t even think about a touch-up coat. I definitely needed eye makeup removed at the end of the day, but I did love the rich and lush formula. I would recommend this Mazzie for the mascara junkie who plays with different lash looks.
