I was sent some Avon make-up in August of 2013 and yes, I realise that this is just a tad late, but there were mitigating circumstances. I went through some personal crises in the second half of the year, not to mention that I had an operation on my right hand and it made it just a tad difficult to apply make-up without looking like a clown.
Crushed Orchid is a vibrant purple duo eye shadow that (to me) is better suited for use when you go out at night. Considering my job as a teacher, I tend to stay at home. Now and again when I feel adventurous, I might use it during the day, but it's just too purple for me.
Healthy Glow, on the other hand, is a wonderful addition to my make-up. The duo of light and dark browns are very flattering and you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. And yes, it really does give you a healthy glow. The browns give a bit of life to your face and opens up your eyes in general.
Overall, the make-up is of great quality. I have oily skin and some of the cheaper brands tend to vanish during the day. Avon True Colour certainly does not vanish or even run; it stays exactly where you put it.
