When Beauty Bulletin sent me this foundation, I was so excited to try it out because I have heard friends rave about this brand. It comes in a plastic bottle which is white with a silver top, and brown writing on the bottle.it has a faint scent almost like that of coconut Which I like .I find the packaging to be simple yet elegant. It has a pump action dispenser, which i love for hygienic purposes and you get the right amount each time you use it.
Bionike defence colour high protection foundation was designed to protect sensitive skin from the harsh elements such as UV rays..it gives full coverage and has been formulated to use after a facial peel, or waxing and threading where skin might get red, blotchy or irritated. What it does is cover up all signs of redness without further irritating the skin. It's rich and moderately thick consistency smooths on easily provided you have perfectly moisturised face otherwise it can look a bit cakey.
I tested this at my leisure because I was due for a facial and wanted to see if it's claims of covering up redness, caused by facials, without irritating my skin further ,were true . So glad to say that it does indeed deliver on this promise. I like the glow this brings to my face but if you end up using to much it ends up looking cakey. Its long lasting ,even throughout a terribly humid day. I would say this would be perfect for women who suffer From oily skin as it gives you a matte look. I would not recommend it for those of you who have dry skin. My skin is neither dry or oily but I still need to make sure it's highly moisturised before I use this foundation.
It's spf of 30 Is also a huge plus point, especially during this scorching weather. This is perfect for women who have oily and problematic skin as It won't aggrevate the condition.
All in all I quite like this foundation, I'll save it for days when I have facials or for days my skin breaks out.
