While we’re used to seeing the Gossip Girl actress and Chanel model with her blonde locks, her new russet-red hue looked great with her blue eyes and the turquoise-green Zuhair Murad gown, which she wore for the event.

Though it is still unknown whether Blake’s new red hair colour is the result of a new film role (she is rumoured to be playing Glinda alongside James Franco and Mila Kunis in Oz: The Great and the Powerful, a prequel to The Wizard of Oz), Lively now joins the likes of Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore and Christina Hendricks as being a famous redhead haircare star.
