It was established in the 1950s by two sisters, Maria and Rosy Carita, who believed is enhancing women’s beauty. They started off as hairstylists and went on to become famous because of their unconventional but effective treatments.

Their unconventional style led them to team up with French avant-garde fashion designers who would use them to style their models’ hair for runway shows. They grew a reputation of being stylists who pushed boundaries and came up with new and exciting concepts.
