Clarins Bright Plus Range

So it's officially 21 days into my review and the review has come to an end. If you'd like to find out I'll continue using the products? Were they effective? Would I recommend them to someone else?

It's been just over 2 weeks and I'm ecstatic about the results I've achieved with the Clarins Bright Plus Range! I'm the beginning, I was really skeptical as I've tried many products for hyperpigmentation and dark marks on my face. It's not an easy procedure to achieve a flawless, even skin tone due to hormonal changes and change in seasons.

Scaring:
I've battled with acne during my high school days and all that was left was the scaring on my back and my cheeks. I've noticed a huge difference in the effectiveness of the products by the evenness and smoothness of my skin. The products also assisted me in removing a bit of red spots that I have due to sun exposure as there's spf20 in the day cream and body veil, which is crucial.

Evenness of skin:
I found that the serum did a good job by giving my skin a beautiful glow without makeup, as well as create an even skin tone and a smooth base when applying my foundation. I no longer need to use any form of colour correctors. I dive straight in to either applying a BB cream or light-to-medium coverage foundation. I've noticed a reduction in my dark undereye circles, which I'm thrilled about.

Texture of my skin:
My skin is generally oily around the T-zone area and it's dryest around the mouth and cheek area. The day cream is thick and creamy and left my skin glowing and moisturizer, although I did experience a bit of breakout around the cheek area because the consistency of the day cream is very thick.

Body texture:
The body veil loves up to its name. It gives me the hydration that my dry skin needs as well as lightening the acne scars I have on my back. The scent is subtle and the body veil is smooth and gentle on my eczema skin. A big A+ in my books!

All in all, each Clarins Bright Plus Product lives up to its name and provided me with the necessary moisture for my skin, as well as fading the dark marks I have around my face, leaving my skin with a beautiful glow.

It's 2 weeks and couple of days into my Clarins bright Plus range trial, and I must admit that it's a very slow process. I'm going to keep this review sort and to the point, because I haven't seen any results when it comes to some of their products. My two main problems before I started this trial were dry and dull skin as well as acne scaring left from my most recent breakout.

Dry & Dull skin:
The range has been extremely effective in hydrating my skin, and I think I owe all the credits to the brighting day lotion and body veil. I can even feel the moisture straight after application of these two, they have definitely helped in terms of hydrating, and helping restore that youthful glow my skin lost for a bit. I would definitely recommend these two products to anyone who is battling with dry skin, or someone who is interested in fighting winter skin altogether.

Acne scaring:
Although the range is mainly formulated to assist in promoting an even skin tone, the serum is said to help with clearing acne scars. It has only been two weeks, and I have not seen any results with this product however I am going to be patient, because a fair amount of time you should give any products is 2 months. I have been breaking out here and there especially around my forehead area however that's been an issue for over a month now before I started the bright plus range.

Otherwise in terms of hydration, and nourishing my skin I have been receiving topnotch results.

I have been using the Clarins Bright Plus lotion, and night cream for 3 weeks now, being that Clarins sent me the range without the serum then Beauty Bulletin sent me the range with the serum last week for this 4 week review. I'll touch on each product below, and please bare in mind it's only been a week of me using all the products together so the results aren't mind-blowing as yet.

Brightening day lotion:
The lotion smells devine, and it has an SPF which is a bonus, because I am a firm believer in wearing sunscreen daily be it overcast or sunny days. It leaves my skin feeling extremely smooth, and hydrated. I found that before I started using the range my skin was extremely dry and dull, because the products I was trying before were too harsh for my skin so this product has been very effective in hydrating my skin and restoring a glow.

Bright Plus Night Revive Cream:
The night cream also smells so good. It is extremely light weight which is good for people with oily skin, it doesn't leave your skin looking and feeling greasy however it isn't drying. It almost feels like a primer so it leaves a smooth/ slightly tacky feeling on your face.

Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum:
I have only been using the serum for a week so I honestly cannot say that I've seen results. I did breakout about a month ago when I traveled to KZN so due to climate change my skin reacted, and the breakout did leave some scaring behind I'm still in the process of getting rid of some of the texture on my forehead so I'm hoping this product will assist as I go along with this Clarins skincare journey.

Brightening Body Veil:
I am OBSESSED with this product. I used it about a year ago, and I'm back to using it now and I've loved it from day one. It's so amazing for hydrating and battling winter skin (I even mentioned it in my winter skincare routine video on my YouTube channel: Mihlali N) I cannot get enough of it. This lotion leaves your skin feeling so smooth, and it leaves a slight shimmer/ glow. Your skin feels hydrated throughout the WHOLE DAY I have no issues with dry or ashy appearing skin when using this product. I LOVE it.

Overall the products have been treating me well, I haven't experienced any reactions or irritation. My only concern is treating my breakout and the scaring it has left behind.

I Have been using the range for about 4 weeks now and my skin feels soft and the complexion has evened out. My main issue was that parts of my face would get dark after sun exposure and I would end up having a noticeable tone difference between my face a neck. The products contain SPF of 20 which has managed to keep the discoloration at bay. I did get a bit of a rash and some texture on the second week of using the products and my skin felt like it was about to peel off. I am not sure if it was a reaction to the ingredients or just stress related I guess time will tell.

I would advise the use of some type of oil for some one with dry skin cause I found the serum together with the night cream to be a bit drying although It wasn't an issue for me since I have oily skin.

The downside is the price point which is a little bit too much and the fact that it did not prevent my skin from breaking out. I also feel it would have been great if they had added a moisturizing face wash/cleanser and a toner to the range because I don't like mixing products.

All in all these are good quality products packaged nicely but and they come in a big bottle that will probably last over 2.5 to 3 months. I and my final rating would be a 3.5 but I would not be purchasing again due to it being too pricey for my budget.

I have been suffering from blemish but cuticura & Nivea it's what I have been using, since I started Clarins I have seen so much difference when it comes to my skin tone
Dark spots are visibly reduced
Less dullness, even skin unified color bright
Skin looks more luminously flawless & radiant, natural glow.... my 30ies look so brighter and younger I must say

I'm a week into my use of this range as a #BBRecruitReview-er and loving it so far. The major thing for me is moisture without oiliness as I do suffer some dry patches on my face, and a smoother texture on my skin overall.
As far as buying the products continuously, if you're unsure I would say go for the serum or the night cream first, those have been my favourite so far.

The serum is light without being drying, and you can use it day and night- I do! A little of it goes a long way too. I enjoy the slightly heavier feel of the night cream and I believe that's where most of the moisturising comes in.
I'm excited to see even more progress especially with my hyperpigmentation :)

I have never used Clarins products before because I have always used Nivea as I found it works well with my skin type. I tried the Clarins Bright Plus Serum, Hydrating Day Lotion and Repairing Night Cream and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this product.

The Clarins Bright Plus Serum is light and a little of it went a long way to cover my face. The serum was used morning as well as night before I used the day lotion or night cream, and it is an absolute miracle worker. It left my skin feeling smooth and pleasantly lightly fragranced. I allowed it to "soak in" to my skin for about 5 minutes before using the lotion or the cream and this seemed to work very well.

The Clarins Hydrating Day Lotion is possibly my favourite product that I have ever used on my skin. It is smooth and delicate in texture, and it has great coverage. The fragrance is absolutely out of this world, and it reminds me of those "typical face cream fragrances" that every mommy should smell like:) I really love this lotion because it immediately brightens my skin and leaves it feeling and looking well-cared for all day. There was no oiliness or shine on my skin, and yet, my face still felt moisturized and protected because of the SPF of 20 that it contains. Definitely a 5/5 for this product.

The Clarins Repairing Night Cream is a very good product in terms of a night repair cream. It works very well after cleansing and after the toner is applied. I wake up to fresh and healthy looking skin every day after using it for the past 4.5 weeks. There is no real fragrance that I noticed, but the cream is rich and smooths on easily.

Since all the products are priced above R550 retail price, it is average in price for such excellent products. They all require a very minimal amount in order to work very well, so if you are willing to pay about R600 per product, it would definitely be worth it because it lasts so long. I am so thrilled with these three products. Clarins have definitely done very well with these three products! Thank you for allowing me to test them, because I have found great results with the new Clarins Bright Plus range.

I am relatively new to the Clarins range of products. My skin has never looked better. My oily skin tends to still suffer breakouts and clogged pores but after just a few days of using this range twice daily my skin is flawless. 10/10 for Clarins!

Over all I can say that this Range lives to its Title...Bright Plus? Yes it illuminates your skin leaving it feeling bright..but not just bright so much more.

I've had the absolute pleasure of using the Brightening Repairing Night Cream, Intensive Brightening Smoothing Serum and Brightening Hydrating Day Lotion from the Clarins Bright Plus Range for approximately a month or so now.
My overall impression of the products is that they are effective, luxurious and deliver on the promise of a brighter and more even toned complexion.
I think that the range would be perfect for summer as the formulas are lightweight and non-greasy and I look forward to continuing usage as we move away from the winter months.

This range was a complete surprise for me. Clarins has gained a fan for sure. I will continue using the products. I am not usually a patient person when trying out products because I want to see results before I finish the product. So when in just four weeks I could see such an improvement, I was sold. Imagine how I will look 4 months down the line :-)

Overall, it has been a lovely experience using and trying out one of my fav brands. It was also pleasing to see actual results on my skin as it has always been a problem for me to use the same product on my skin without my skin getting irresponsive to a product. I would like to thank the BB team for giving me this wonderful opportunity to be a part of this review as it has drastically improved the luminosity, brightness and hydration of my skin.

I used the whole range and have posted specific reviews for them individually. I have the following general remarks: I noticed that my forehead became particularly dry and developed dry patches on exceptionally cold days. This worried me because it indicated to me that the range isn't the best for dry and dehydrated skin. It is said that brightening ranges are best started in colder seasons to counter added sun damage. I highly recommend some kind of facial spray and facial oil to pat over top to seal in moisture. I'm not sure if the range worked for me, as I still have areas of hyperpigmentation. Perhaps longer term treatment would be needed to see real results.

From the scent to the light weight feel the Clairns Bright Plus Range is everything I need for my skin.

The combination of the serum and the day cream leaves my skin hydrated the entire day and has helped, with the night cream, to reduce my dark spots significantly.

I would to thank BB for affording me the opportunity to review the Clarins Bright Plus range. I had an awesome time using these products. The products are very lightweight on the skin. Although the range is a bit pricey, I feel that the price tag is justified. I have spent hefty sums on products that have made huge claims but failed to live up to these promises :) The products in this range complement each other superbly! I will continue using these products to the last drop. I may even purchase the range when it runs out. Now, the million dollar question: where is the Clarins Bright Plus Eye Cream?! :)

I am very impressed with the Clarins Bright Plus range. It saved my skin, when it really needed saving from dullness, dryness and pigmentation marks due to bad winter conditions. I used the entire range every day for more than a month now and the results are amazing. There is no sign of my winter skin, it's been replaced with healthy, radiant, glowing skin and the appearance of my pigmentation marks are visibly clearer. I love this range!

I really love this range!! I have been using the range for almost a month now and I can see a visible difference in the brightness and texture of my skin. I am sure if I continue to use these products that it will also help with my pigmentation a bit better. As well as my uneven skin tone. I like the cleanliness of the packaging...simple, yet elegant.
For me, the quality and effectiveness of the products make it worth it, although the price is a bit high for me...+-R1 800 for all three products. It should last a while though.

I have been using the Clarins Brightplus range for over 4 weeks now.
Unfortunatly things didnt go well with my skin while using this range.
It seems my skin balance was disturbed as ive developed acne and rough skin.
On first 2 days of using the product i developed small puss filled pimples along my cheeks but i thought if i continued the product would eventually agree with my skin but no luck.
Today i will use the products for the last time will probably have to get on a mild acne treatment.
The products dried out my skin as well. I have used serums before and normally it would make my skin glow.
The day lotion was not so hydrating
My spots have not lightened although some part of my skin patches seems lighter.
Generally i have combination skin and slightly sensitive skin

My experience so far with Clarins is limited to the 3 products that I have been generously given by BB and Clarins.

However, this experience has cemented a very positive image of Clarins in my mind. I would reccomend this range to anyone who struggles with uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. By far the best I have tried..

After 5 weeks of using this range., my skin looks brighter, healthier and not dull and has a fantastic radiant glow. My skin feels nourished and youthful.
After two weeks I noticed a considerable difference with the texture and overall glow of my skin, however I did not see any improvement to the dark spots due to acne scarring and some hyper pigmented areas.
After 3-5 weeks there was a very slight reduction in appearance of my dark spots and an overall improved tone of my skin. Considering that this is a brightening range and is targeted at hyper pigmentation, I expected to see a marked difference in the reduction of dark spots and hyper pigmentation areas given that I used the entire range for 5 weeks. Hopefully I will see these changes after using the entire bottle/jar.

I would recommend this range for achieving radiant, glowing skin and a youthful appearance, though I am not yet sure if it is highly effective for dark spot lightening and hyper pigmented areas.

After using the whole range of bright plus I can say its definitely the best. The whole range has given me my complexion back. My dark marks are dissapearing, as they gave me stress. Its really working,even fine lines which were visible have disappeared. I'm so thankful to it.My mom even said I'm glowing on my face. Even if its a bit pricey but I would recommend it to anyone who has a dull complexion to try it. Thank you clarins, you have brought my confidence back. I'm definitely saving money for this range.

So my lasting impressions of this range are that it did not disappoint. Unlike other products that help in one way and then upset the balance by making you break out, this product did nothing but heal and make my skin glow with health. It has helped reveal fresh new cells and a brighter complexion overall. Whilst my dark spots are not completely gone, I think that would be overly optimistic, and I can certainly say they are lighter. A great range overall and certainly worth saving up for.

What more is there to say when my skin says it all. I'm seeing the result and certain that with continued use my skin will look even more even and radiant. This range smells great, lightweight on the skin,is greatly packed and easy to use. My skin never looked this bright, radiant and rosier. Try this for yourself and you'll also fall in love with it. This range is truly a miracle in a bottle and my skin saver.

I most definitely enjoyed using the smoothing serum. My skin felt very smooth after the morning and night application. My skin has a youthful healthy glow.

So it's been a little over 2 weeks since I've started my Clarins journey and I'd have to say I am more than just impressed. I'm not too sure about how visible the change is but I guess it's only been two weeks. I do however, feel like my skin is adequately nourished and moisturized with the range. More so, the Clarins day lotion that includes an SPF 20. It's sort of a 2 in 1 combo and it feels amazing once applied, I have been using it in conjunction with the Clarins serum which enhanced its effect and made my skin care routine something to look forward to. I am going to continue using the product and hopefully keep monitoring the progress.

I have only used the 2-in-1 serum I've got in a goody bag from last year' ANC women's conference held in JHB and I got an instant results as I have seen a huge different on my skin. It became soft and smooth after using Clarins. I would buy clarins products even thou the expensive but they worth the investment.

I started using the Clarins Bright Plus Range about two weeks ago and I have been very surprised at the results, particularly with the Clarins Bright Plus Brightening Hydrating Day Lotion SPF 20. I was in the sun quite a bit and was completely protected with the SPF in the cream. I found that the cream absorbed in to my skin quickly and that it lasted an entire day leaving my skin with a radiant complexion and very well hydrated skin.
My darker spots have faded slightly, but i would like to continue a bit longer with the product to see the results.

Thank you for allowing me to try out a new product that i wouldn't have tried before. It has definitely been an amazing two weeks as well as receiving many compliments about my skin. I look forward to purchasing Clarins products in the future.

I have been using the Clarins Bright Plus range for a little over two weeks now. For the longest time I have been seeking after a skincare product that will help me deal with uneven skin tone and boosting radiance. With the Clarins Bright Plus range, I have found three. At the moment, my hero product of the three is the Hydrating Day Lotion. Alongside dealing with dark spots my skin craves hydration and this day lotion delivers on both. I look forward to keeping you updated as I continue to use the Clarins Bright Plus range.

I have been using the Clarins Bright Plus Range for a week now and I have found my new Holy Grail product.

Wow, wow, wow! Pretty much sums up how I feel about these products.
I have a bit of hormonal acne left over from my pregnancy and while the blemishes are now only occasional the red marks from previous break outs as well as the more recent break outs remain. my hole chin area is peppered with marks and scarring.

Well after a week of use these marks are greatly reduced! My skin is looking clearer and brighter and the marks on my chin are finally disappearing. I'm not the only one who has noticed! I'm getting compliments on my skin which I have not received in months!

Although I do love the products the packaging is a tad annoying. Especially on the day cream. The bottle doesn't dispense product evenly and after you have use the serum trying to get anything out of the day cream pump without the bottle slipping out of your hands and crashing to the floor is a bit tricky. That said, I will put up with a little packaging inconvenience for the magic that is inside!

I look forward to seeing the results I get from continued use.

I have been using Bright Plus range for 6 days now. I have found my new best friend.
Which woman doesn't love a beautiful, blemish free skin? Haa, None!! This product works wonders. It is easy to apply the serum and the Day Hydrating Lotion. It leaves you feeling pampered the whole that until the evening, when you apply the serum and the Brightening Repairing Night Cream.

I believe that something magical is happening with my skin while sleeping. I wake up with fresh looking skin in the morning. I also love how the Brightening Repairing Night Cream smells.

I am going to stick to this wonderful product.
