I would like to give you first a brief description of the Brand since I see that no one on the BB community has reviewed any of their products before. SAMPAR is a French brand which took the world by storm in 2004. It has only been sold to very elite countries and elite stores around the globe. Recently I found this treasure chest at a Red Square store and had to purchase a few products. SAMPAR is now officially in South Africa and is sold in Red Square Stores and online.
The first product I would like to share with you is their “Dew It Again Shower Gel”. The gel comes in a white tube with light pink highlights. Highlighted in light pink is the skyline of Paris. What a true beauty in itself.
This cosmetic brand takes into consideration women working in the city, who are exposed to everyday pollutants which infect the city. And all of their products are designed to combat these pollutants in a gentle formulation, whilst instilling elegance.
I adore trying new shower gels and this is by far, the best gel I have tried in my lifetime. The fragrance is too much to really explain and must be something you try for youself as any amount of words I give you will not show its true value. The gel contains 6 different essential oils which assist in purifying. These oils are peppermint, myrtle, cajuput, lavender, rosemary, geranium.
The gel also claims neutralises the effects of pollutants mainly lead and chorine contained in everyday tap water which can cause damage to skin overtime which you would never think of. My skin felt remarkable after about 1 week of use. I saw results in my skin, being instantly revitalised and it seemed thirsty for moisture but not dry.
If this isnt enough, it also contains Vegetal and milk sugar extract which actually helps your bodies natural skin bacteria and protective layer. It also has Urban Advance Complex, which I learned is a combination of 3 active ingredients (shea butter serum, mint endorphin and probiotic sugar), which creates an anti-oxidant shield, neutralising any cutaneous imbalances linked to pollution. This ends up strengthening your skin’s natural defenses and shocks the skin back to life on a cellular level. (I had a bit of help on this research from their website) I’m no expert :)
This gel must be used in shower. I use my trusty loofah for this. In fact, I actually linger in the bathroom after I shower just to take in the scent it leaves behind.
Now for the bad news…the 150ml tube of this miracle is R225. I have never purchased any shower gel exceeding R100, so the R225 really seemed ridiculous to purchase. The price is extremely expensive, but I believe really worth every single cent spent for the technology in this gel. If you can afford it, give it a try just once.
