This comes in a pencil like form, but it's liquid ( looks like a really thin permanent marker ) it's a black pen, with the name written on in yellow.
I also really liked this eye liner. It has a really thin point, not too thin though, works amazing when I use it for doing winged liner.
It also does what it says. It really stays no matter what!
Ooh and it is waterproof ( I love waterproof products ) which means it doesn't smudge when you sweat or something.
I bought mine at Clicks and it was about R49 at the time. Which is to me a really affordable price.

If you haven't given this liner a try yet. I definitely recommend doing so.
Ps take into consideration that mine is 2 years old, so the pictures won't look like it's brand new.

I love this eyeliner and am going to purchase every colour!
That said, there are a few things worth mentioning. The liner is really thin which makes it hard to sharpen and it doesn't look like there's a whole lot in there, which means it won't last long either.
It also does smudge a little for me, especially if I don't use anything to set it. If you intentionally rub it though, it does eventually come off when your eyes are red. XD
Waterproof? Maybe. With a little soapy water, it came off quite easily, so no idea how it takes plain water.

I adore Essence as a brand. Everything is fabulous quality considering the price you're paying. However, I didn't like this eyeliner. It smudges regardless of it being waterproof and I found that at the end of the day I had panda eyes. I wouldn't repurchase this unfortunately.

This is a really cool product, it is easy to apply and lasts so long. The only thing that i had a problem with was , it was so hard to sharpen it.

Im a big fan of the Essence range but unfortunately I have to agree this one did not work well for me it either I had a problem with the fact that i had to get it sharp but then i got it open at the back and had to push it out as sharpening did not work

I totally agree with the reviews this far on this product, I dont think the pencil lasted a month. I didnt know that you could try and sharpen it and i just threw it away. Was not impressed.

I was excited to try this eyeliner as i always am about any beauty product i buy.
I tried it out and it went on smoothly.
My problem came when i needed to 'sharpen' the eyeliner after a couple of uses. It has a plastic tube that says 'sharpenable' on it. But i tried to sharpen it with a sharpener...an eyeliner sharpener from an old eyeliner AND a pencil sharpener as well...both of the sharpeners broke :-(
So, I'm now stuck with a full eyeliner that i can't access because I can't sharpen off the plastic around the eyeliner
Because of this, I declare this eyeliner a complete FAIL!

I am pretty disappointed in Essence waterproof eye liner...
Sad thing is I love the normal eye liner it works brilliant but this one they just lost the plot.
It doesn't last long, it's poor quality. I wouldn't repurchase this, but maybe it works different for you ladies.
