I purchased the shade Hot Brownie from Takealot. Previous to this I had not tried any of the matte lipglosses from Essence, I simply have not been able to find them. The shade is a dark brownish red. The product actually has a brownie like smell. I like the flat applicator, I find that it helps with precise application of the product.
The texture is much like a cream, it does not dry out your lips and I really like the colour.
The only down side for me is that I find that the product fades quickly. This may be due to the fact that I do not use it with a lipliner, I think I will look for a suitable shade to match it.
Overall I find the product to be of good quality and price. I would like to try some of the other shades on offer.
