Estee is my all time favorite foundation. Beautiful packaging. It's full coverage. Covers dark marks and pigmentation. They have expanded their range with new colors. Very expensive selling at R610. Doesn't have a pump.

This is my holy grail foundation. It lasts so long and I don't need to touch up throughout the day. I have really sensitive, oily skin with acne scars and freckles. This is a full coverage foundation with a matte finish. The coverage is amazing it cover all my freckles and acne scars without even using concealer. After about 5 to 8 hours depending on the weather I do experience my skin getting oily around my nose area but like I said I have really oily so this is expected. This foundation is abit pricey but it lasts really long so it is definitely worth the price.

This is the first foundation I've ever tried and I absolutely love it! It's got amazing coverage and mattifies my oily skin without making it feel dry or tight. It doesn't even emphasize my dry patches in winter. The only cons with this product is the price and the flashback. When I purchased it I paid R480 though I believe it retails for R600 now. The foundation also contains SPF 10 which is great for sun protection but not so great for flash photography.

I love Estee Lauder Double wear light foundation, it gives me full coverage and it is long lasting, Makes my face even with a glow lasting for hours it may be pricey but the product is worth every cent ?

Once you wear Estee Lauders Double wear foundation you wont go back to any other foundation!!! To apply so little and get full coverage is so amazing. It is pricey but it’s worth every penny!

being a person who loves a full radiant coverage when using make-up this foundation does it for me. it has a natural finish i strive for when i make us of make-up foundation. it's truly an executive high-end, a bit pricey but every other time when i want to spoil myself i buy it. i love Estee lauder shades for my medium light skin tone. it's one i'd love to use long term...

Foundation is literally everything. You have to have the best foundation to look absolutely flawless. You pay for quality and this foundation is definitely worth your money!

No make up stains!!!!! i love double wear make-up because it always has full coverage and dries up quickly which also means it doesn't get to make stains on your clothes. This product provides full coverage and has most nice shades for African women. It is just important to use the right shade because once it dries up you cant tone down the make-up and also putting pressed powder can make you look cakey so it is crucial to apply it right from the beginning.. It is pricey but it's worth it. budget would be about R500 for it at truworths not sure about other retail stores.

I received a sample from Edgars Pebble and thus far it is wonderful as i do not do the full coverage i prefer a lightweight foundation that is not sticky or oily and this one got the thumbs up. It lasts and does not rub off when it is hot. I would surely recommend it to anyone with a sensitive skin and that does not want that heavy plastered feeling on their face. Only thing it is a bit on the pricey side but will invest in a full bottle...

I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear so much, but I'll only purchase it like once a year. The foundation is really good and the full coverage is no joke,it covers my dark spots really great but its really expensive. I would recommend this foundation if you want to do a glam look.

I hate how much this costs because it is one of the best full coverage foundations I have ever used. I can't bring myself to spending R600 on this unfortunately and I wish that I could. I fell inlove with the sample pot that I got from the Red Square store and was gutted when I wanted to purchase the full size. I'm not going to be using it as often because I prefer a more light coverage for every day so I wouldn't really be getting the most out of this product. But for a full glam look or big event, this is perfect!

I've always been a MAC kinda girl until recently, with many skincare concerns, i decided let me try other brands in all aspects of skincare and makeup. I was blown away!
I personally have a lot of pigmentation and a full coverage foundation is my best friend, the product looked natural and hid all my insecurities.

My favorite foundation ever. I've tried many foundations and this works best for my skin tone and skin type . I use the shade bronze. It might be expensive but its totally worth every cent because it provides maximum coverage and lasts whole day. Don't need to reapply. Coverage is buildable. This foundation has many shades to suit every skin tone. This foundation makes u look brighter than you already are and gives you a natural glow. Would totally recommend that every lady should try it

My shade is 6C1 Rich Cocoa
The foundation does not have a pump so it's really frustrating to try and get the product out which is disappointing for a high end product
It is very easy to blend with minimum effort required
It is medium coverage but it is buildable to achieve a more fuller coverage without looking cakey
It does a good job covering up imperfections however I found that some of my blemishes and dark spots were still showing so to prevent that you'd have to use a bit more product.
It does not oxidise which means the shade does change/get darker when exposed to oxygen
The finish is a matte finish
It is definitely lightweight and very comfortable
Its a good foundation but for the price **eeeek** I think I can get a more affordable brand with the same outcome/results
The bottle is 30ml and lasts for roughly 2/3 months but that all depends on usage

From all the foundations that I have tried from the high end product ranges, this specific brand keeps up to their standards in terms of quality of their foundations. This foundations is light weight but full coverage from the start to the end. This foundation is amazing on so many levels. Love this

This is my go to foundation (Rich Caramel) for a night out. I wear foundation almost everyday but this one here provides the right amount of coverage for my acne scars and pigmentation. It does not slide off during the day. I love that I don't look like a grease ball 3 hrs later thanks to the matt finish in this foundation.
...always a staple in my makeup bag. If it wasn't for the price point, I'd wear this one everyday.

The product is perfect for summer. It is long lasting and has a matt effect.
I only wish that the Edgards Consultant in V & A Waterfront let you choose your own color. They tested my skin with this machine and gave me a color that was way to dark. after i went back to tell them that it was to dark and i could clearly see the difference they told me that it IS the correct color....... Will buy my own shade next time online :)

I absolutely love this foundation. I have dark spots and pigmentation so it's great for covering up, its very buildable for when I want full coverage, it lasts the whole day and doesn't smudge. Definitely one of my favorite products.

Honestly my absolute FAV foundation. I don't know how I've went so many years without this! I have oily skin and usually by mid day, my makeup always looks separated and completely disappears around my nose and other parts of my face. Ever since I've switched over to Estée Lauder double wear.. I am beyond impressed at how beautifully this foundation keeps my oils at bay, and when they do peak through the surface of my skin.. it leaves a gorgeous glow! Something I never thought I'd be able to have with a foundation since I've always opted for super matte foundations. My colour is Tawny, and it was recommend by more than 1 Estée Lauder rep, I personally feel the shade is true match to my skin tone. There isn't any oxidization with this foundation, nor is it too drying. Super lightweight with Full coverage.

This product really great. My skin is quite oily and this foundation didn't make me skiny and break out. It didn't feel thick on the skin that I barely noticed it on my face. The colour matched my skin and made it took like skin.

As a beginner to the foundation world, I battled finding the right brand to suit my needs in terms of foundation till my mother recommended this product to me. Its light weight makes it easy to wear all day with no smudging whatsoever. I may not use it everyday but with every application I know that I am guaranteed a smudge free day.

- Best foundation ever for ethnic skin.
- It has a staying power, no touch up's needed during the day.
- No need for setting powder as it has a perfect matte finish.
- However, its undertones are overpowering. The foundation must be mixed with a different house brand for a true match. I currently mix Bronze with Almay caramel.

It stays matte the longest in comparison to what I have used in the past.
Very Light and thin but full coverage. I used less concealer because most spots were covered.

Applies well with the old school flat foundation brush.

This product gives a good coverage however i fail to understand why prices are on the high these days. The price increases are extreme

I usually struggle with extremely dry skin, however since I moved to a warmer province my skin has improved in that area. Previously when my skin was so dry I could not dare to use this foundation in winter or summer.

I have normal skin now and I applied this foundation the other day and it worked for normal skin.

Pros:
* It applies nicely with a brush or beauty blender.
* If applied in thin layers you can achieve the coverage that you want/need.
* The coverage is very good.
* The finish is very matte, during the day it adapts to a more satin finish because of the skin's oil which is beautiful.
* Concealer is rarely needed.
* A little goes a long way, foundation will last a while.

Cons:
* The colour is not my exact match, Bone is the closest match but it is really very yellow toned.
* This foundation is a hyped product and I expected much more coverage.
* The matte finish is not my preferred finish.
* I don't like the pumpless bottle.
* I don't have large pores, but this foundation seems to sink in any pores that you may have and I assume it will sink into fine lines as well.
* The foundation has SPF in it and will photograph with a white cast. This foundation can appear mask like on photos (more so if it is not a perfect match shade wise)

I will recommend this foundation to someone with problematic skin that needs coverage as well as to someone with oily skin. If you can find your exact shade in this foundation and you have oily skin it could be your HG foundation.

Almost 4 months ago I purchased the Estee Lauder Double Wear Say-in-place Foundation SPF 10 in the colour Rich Chestnut . Now I obviously could have reviewed this product a lot sooner, but I decided to try the foundation during different seasons in order to give you the best review.

I started using the foundation towards the end of winter – but before we get into how the experience went, just a quick recap on my skin. I have dry combination skin and it’s extremely sensitive. During the winter periods, my skin tends to get dry around my forehead and it looks patchy and scally. During the summer time, my skin tends to be normal but oily around my t-zone which then requires powdering throughout the day.

Winter: Upon application of the foundation I immediately thought that it would dry my skin out and I felt as though the foundation had a red undertone to it, but it surprised me just how it automatically blended with my skin.

Summer: Now with the recent heat waves, I decided to try the foundation again – my goodness, the beauty of this foundation.
I came to a realisation that my skin is lighter during winter (due to the fact that there’s hardly any sun) then it tends to darken during summer because I absolutely love the sun.
I applied the foundation and it matched my skin tone perfectly with ease. The oiliness seems to diminish when I use this foundation. The foundation is medium coverage and also buildable.

I basically apply my first thin coat all over my face and let it sit for around two minutes and then apply a second coat. When I applied the second coat I immediately felt as though it had a mattefying effect to my skin. It felt like it totally stuck to my and didn’t move (which is a good thing during summer). I felt like a natural second skin.

I love love this foundation and now I see why it’s being getting such good reviews. This foundation gets a 7/10 from me.

Go ahead and get your faced matched to the correct shade. It comes in 29 different shades – so I’m sure you’ll find your perfect match

Apply Double Wear in the morning and after a night our you're washing it off properly. Double Wear really does what it says and is only removed when you do so. I've even swum and still had to wash it off after.

DW covers blemishes and redness, I don't even need to use a spot concealer. It is a very matte foundation and because I have oily skin on my face this is perfect, if you have dryer skin this is possibly not the right foundation for you.

DWs has very heavy coverage, but if you need less just use the Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place foundation instead.

As a dark skinned black girl it's sometimes difficult to find products that offer full coverage. That's why this product is great, it's light so it doesn't feel caked on and if applied properly you don't have to use too much.

I use to use this foundation when I was in my young 20s and it was honestly amazing! But as I have gotten older - (older 20s ;) my complexion is dry and battling terribly to apply this foundation. I think if I find the right moisturizer/primer is will be easier to apply. Still the BEST full coverage!

It is a bit expensive. But isn't all great beauty products? It gives me good coverage but I still need to use concealer on my dark post-pimple scars.

Expect to be amazed with this foundation,I certainly am.. A liquid foundation with such a creamy texture that makes for easy and flawless application. I love using my fingers to blend this in. It's full coverage and so light and airy,my skin loves this. Lasts all day keeping my face looking absolutely radiant.

At first I thought is was a bit pricey, but decided to buy it anyway. I decided to really test it out and wear it all day, and I was pretty impressed. I loved it. It has a very smooth and thin texture and applies fine for me. I hope it continues to work this well for me.. it could be my new favourite foundation.

Great product, which stayed in place all day as promised! Did have to touch up a few times with my powder compact though, as my chin and nose became a quite shiny.
