Whenever I go to buy shampoo and conditioner and if this one is on special I will buy it because it does exactly what it says for your hair leaving u with healthy silky hair
I have thick naturally curly hair. Being extremely impressed by the deep conditioner from this range I decided to try out the shampoo and conditioner too, and it was a major disappointment. The shampoo left my hair feeling dry and stripped and the conditioner didn't do much to help.
This product smells amazing! It works best when used with the conditioner and leaves my hair sleek and silky. For the price however, you could probably find a better product (for example, organics shampoo).
This whole line seemed to be very promising as it seems to have various ranges geared towards a large range of people. I was interested in the avocado and shea butter range because I have dry, somewhat coarse, natural hair. The shampoo left my hair feeling stripped and hard, A far cry from what it advertised.
There isn’t a great deal you can say about any shampoo to be completely honest. But…I like this one a hell of a lot. It smells so good, not overly honey-like or sickly sweet, but natural and clean, and I think the honey and royal jelly play a big part in keeping it pure.
The shampoo lathers up a treat which is personally what I love and always look for in a shampoo, as I find that I tend to get the best results from my hair with this kind of formulation. I’ve also found that a little goes a long way which again is something I really like from a shampoo, as you know that you’re getting your money’s worth for a start, which is never a bad thing in my book!
Onto the conditioner and balm…, I’ll talk about these both together as they are actually very similar in texture and result. The balm, in my opinion, is basically a much thicker version of the conditioner anyway, and so it seems pointless to use them both when showering.
I find that alternating between the conditioner and balm works best, and again they are both super moisturising and nourishing.
I would say that unlike the conditioner which is to be used every time you wash your hair though, you could get away with using the balm only once a week, or even once a fortnight as a more intensive treatment, and once left in for up to ten minutes, it leaves hair feeling super moisturised.
A note on the serum, again I really like this. It’s so light in texture and melted into my hair. I mainly use just one pump after a shower whilst my hair is still damp and then go on to blow dry. I don’t think it’s a heat protector as such…but it definitely doesn’t hurt to use this pre-blow dry, as I’ve found it helps to keep everything smooth and sleek. The texture of the serum actually reminds me quite a bit of John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease, so if you like that, then I think you’ll enjoy the Honey Treasures serum.
My hair has felt super soft immediately after drying, and I find that just a couple of washes a week is more than enough to keep my hair looking ok. It is in need of a bloody good cut, which I’ve been forgetting about booking for god knows how long, but straggly ends aside, I think that my hair has at least felt a lot better in recent weeks, and I believe that Ultimate Blends has played a big part in that.
I’ve been really enjoying the Honey Treasures range and think that if your hair is on the dry and damaged side like mine from too much heat and/or styling, then it’s well worth checking these out. They are such a bargain compared to high-end salon products.
I can genuinely and happily say though that I love this range, and my hair feels so much better and healthier since the first wash.
Totally in love with this product. It makes hair feel soft and make hair very shiny. Not even in need for conditioner, but always a good extra to maintane beautiful hair!!! A+++ product!!!
After seeing that Garnier came out with a shampoo and conditioner I instantly ran to my nearest clicks to buy it, because I used a Garnier shampoo and conditioner in Greece whilst on holiday,
I was loving the product until I developed terrible dandruff after the 5th use, and it made my hair oily after ONE day of washing it, my hair can go a good 5 days before I have to wash it with other shampoos, so I’m not sure why this product just didn’t agree with me, I gave both the conditioner and shampoo to my mom for her to try out.
The smell of the shampoo and the conditioner is great, and the retail price is very affordable, so that is the up side for me
I’m just disappointed that I had such a bad experience that I’m not sure if I want to try it anytime soon.
Used this shampoo and conditioner many years ago in Sorento whilst on holiday when I had run out of my own SA product and instantly fell in love. Was deeply saddened to find it not on our SA shelves until the or day!! It has overthrown my Loreal Elvive which I have been using for over ten years which says a lot.
Garnier Ultimate blends is the ultimate awesomeness for ultimate gorgeous hair. At R 39,99 it's not to badly priced for such an incredible range. I love them all. The range of shampoos and conditioners are excellent value for money; a big bottle of bursting goodness that is kind to hair, keeps it in a beautiful condition, nourishes and protects. I think I may have found my love-interest?
My collection lasts me about a month because I only wash once a week but condition often using other products as well.
All I can say is super bliss and happiness.
Soft, shiny, tangle free hair is like second nature now thanks To Garnier!
Finally i jumped on to this bandwagon and found my perfect blend . This shampoo is fortified with coconut oil and cocoa butter so when i read this on the bottle ,i knew i couldn't go wrong in purchasing it. I have thick curly hair that frizzes into an unruly mess most of the time so i have to use products that combat this and this shampoo in particular has been developed to transform dry ,frizzy and brittle hair to manageable ,sleek and silky and it does just that. Also a huge winner is that it is paraben free and for the quality is quite reasonably priced.
The shampoo is thick and just a bit lathers up brilliantly to give my hair a a good squeaky clean without drying it out . in fact moisture is replenshed and my hair doesn't feel dry or brittle. Even after only using the shampoo i can comb through my frizzy hair with ease . it smells great too.
Garneir has put forth an amazing shampoo that is effective and inexpensive.

So glad that Garnier finally released the shampoo and conditioners.
This shampoo has definite met my expectations.
It's smells fantastic courtesy for the avocado oils and shea butter.
A small amount cleanses my hair thoroughly so it's great value for money .
The strands of my hair feel renewed and stronger with every wash.
I definitely have noticed less fall out in the shower .
Overall this is a great product and I am sure the rest of the range is just as fantastic.
So glad that I walked past this range in Clicks and decided to give it a try, especially cause of the fab price of R26.95 each (200MLS).
As soon as I opened the bottle in the shower, the amazing scent captured me. You don't need a whole handful of the product to get an intense cleanse for your hair. Just a few drops creates enough foam to help you scrub dub a away at those locks. After washing, I found that my hair was squeaky clean, smelling great and feeling as soft as silk. This shampoo was definitely the treat my dry damaged hair needed! The avocado oil and shea butter ingredients are amazing, together they will strengthen from root to tip and leave your hair glossy, smelling divine and feeling like heaven.
So I recently took out my weave and I’ve been rocking my natural hair for a while – forgot how amazing it feels and since I am not ready to go back to braids or weaves, I decided to keep it natural a little longer.
I came across the Garnier Ultimate Blends Nourishing Repair Shampoo – not that I needed to get ANOTHER shampoo because Lord knows my hairdresser gives me the side eye when I bring my own products to the salon, but I couldn’t resist.
My hair is not normally dry but I noticed it was starting to get dry and brittle so obviously, the new Garnier Ultimate Blends Nourishing Repair needed to be given a try.
The blend is specifically made for very dry and damaged hair (which ticked both my hair problems).
I love this blend because it contains avocado oil and shea butter to help reinforce your hair’s natural protective barrier and nourishes from root to tip. It smells absolutely divine and I love it.
The shampoo is quite thick; I was surprised by the thickness. It lathered up so nicely that I could almost feel the shampoo working (I know, you are probably thinking how??). It is felt like hydrating magic and once you give it a quick rinse and add the conditioner and your hair will feel amazeballs.
I love that the Garnier Ultimate Blends is perfect for all hair types, and can’t wait to give it a try on my weave – so will keep you guys posted.
If your hair is in need of repair, this is an absolute MUST. I cannot wait for my hair to be fully restored to its glory so I can try out some of the other ULTIMATE BLENDS.
