Getting the eyeshadow right
To get Carrie’s dramatic eyes, use Guerlain’s Ecrin 6 Couleurs Eye Shadow Palette. Sweep the warm-peachy shade over the entire lid to prevent the eyes from looking too dark. Define the crease of your eyes with the pale taupe shadow and use the metallic brown colour on the outer corner of the eye, sweeping slightly upwards to define the shape of the eye.
Create the perfect eye line
Line the inner rims of the top and bottom eyelids with a black kohl eyeliner to add depth and definition to the lash line. Then line the upper and lower lashlines. Smudge the liner along the lower lashline with a cottonbud for a smokey effect.
Getting glam lashes
This look definitely requires false lashes for that super long, super thick luscious look! Start by applying a strip of extra-long lashes to the top lids. Start by making sure your lashes are free of any makeup. Apply a thin strip of glue along the base of the lashes using a toothpick. Wait a few seconds for the glue to dry a bit. Use your fingers to hold the lashes and apply on the lid as close to the roots as possible from the outer corner of the eye in. If you notice the lashes are too long, take them off and trim them. Press the lashes in place with an earbud. Let the lashes dry and finish off with a coat of mascara to blend the false lashes in with your real ones.
Lips and cheeks
The cheeks and lips are kept muted to allow the eyes to take centre stage. Use a muted nude blush in a coral or peach shade to add a delicate hint of colour to the cheeks and apply to the apples only.
