This is such a rare gem of a scent that I found slowly growing on me. Organza is a magical mix of classical sensuality, delicacy and warmth, a hymn to eternal beauty possessed by every woman. At first I was left irritated and intoxicated by the scent of Organza but soon learnt to love its “different” smell.
I would suggest this scent for a more mature women or someone in the early to late 20’s. It oozes confidence and has that nostalgic “memory” feel to it. It does have an old-school glamorous feel to it and you somehow feel very en-powered and strong when using it.
The main accords in this wonderfully enigmatic scent is white floral, woody, vanilla, fresh spice and animalic. The perfume is a beautifully rich bourbon colour reminiscent of glowing liquid lava. The colour is rich, sophisticated and regal. The bottle is utterly attractive and feminine with its flowing curves and gentle lined along the frame. This gives the illusion of a dress or pleats.
The fragrance embodies a real women, it’s a strong yet subtle and mystical scent that captures the room. The lid is a beautiful gold colour with curved and rolled sides, very roman looking. The perfume is composed of intoxicating notes of opulent white flowers, gardenia, tuberose and jasmine. This combination is incredibly exciting, the soft vanilla in the base tames the voluptuous and luxuriance of the floral heart.
A lot of women perceive this to be an “old-lady’s” scent but to me it’s a demanding scent that would evoke a man but wouldn’t turn him into a savage. This is a heavy floral and fruity scent that is worn by women, not one of those sweet, sickly girly scents.
This was the last of my Organza, which was purchased 3 years ago. Upon purchasing a new bottle, I’ve been told that it has been re-formulated; I un-fortunately no longer like this “new” re-formulated scent. If you can get your hands on a bottle manufactured before 2010 then definitely go for it!! A wonderfully sexy and intense scent that captures a WOMAN!
