If you’re going for more than just the basic blow dry, the stylist should be able to tell you what he or she will be doing. If you are not sure what will the stylist will be doing, do not let him or her touch your hair, especially if you’re getting a cut (not that you should get your hair cut by a stylish you’ve never been to before). If there is a lack of communication, chances are you will leave the salon unhappy and never return.
