Invisibobble
HotThe magic trick to Invisibobble's traceless outcome lies in its peculiar telephone cord shape. When this hair ring is wrapped around the hair, it places uneven pressure around the circumference of the ponytail, standard hair rings put even pressure on the hair, leaving an obvious mark.

Both myself and son use these daily. There's no pulling of hair or horrid line left in my hair as it is traceless when I put it down. My only cons is that they are a pretty penny unless purchase on sale and I've tried the boiling water to get the shape back and it hasn't really worked.

They just don't work for a ponytail. They do not sit right and it is a bit hard to remove them as well, specially from very fine hair.
When wrapped around a pony tail, they do wear out and stretch. They work best to secure a bun, but that's about it.
Just not worth it for me.

I bought it on Takealot as it was on special for like R40 and I first thought it would only be one ring but was surprised that it had three in! I haven't had any headaches from tying my hair up as I usually did but it does leave a ring on my hair which sucks a bit but that is just my luck. I have only used one of the rings so far and I have had it for 3 months and I tie my hair up every single day. So I would definitely recommend this product and it is funky looking as well.
I really ate my words because these are great, they keep my hair in a bun, a top knot and a pony with ease without giving me a tension headache or pulling my hair out, it's also great because it doesn't leave you with the kink that normal hair ties do.
The price is incredibly high for these but I was able to find a cheaper option in a Chinese store, I've gotten several friends including my office of twenty girls loving this product.
The only problem I find is that it doesn't keep my hair firmly together when I braid it, that is simply because my hair is thin pen rat the end of its braid then the invisibobble is.
After doing some research on the Invisi Bobble, I searched a few online stores which stocked it such as Rubybox and RetailBox. I also checked a few local salons, which really recommended this... At first I thought they just wanted me to spend R80 on three plastic hair ties, but I was wrong.
The Invisi Bobble is promoted for various reasons, which are:
It is traceless
It avoids headaches
Doesn't give you split ends
Has a strong grip
Is for all hair types.
I purchased the pack which contains three different colours, mine contained a black, hot pink and red invisi bobble. The first one I used was a red. My hair is pin straight and I hate getting a hair line, so the invisi bobble promised no hair lines, YES! It lived up to the promise. Over time the invisi bobble does get loose, so you need to give it a few days to get back to its original shape. I will admit, I snapped the red one in a day, so I didn't think they were going to last long... Luckily the rest were quite long lasting and are still going strong!
So I'd say R80 is quite steep for some hair ties, right? Exactly so if you would like something similar which gives you the same features... I'd recommend checking the Woolworths hair range, I purchased the Invisi Bobble dupe for R25, plus it included 5 of these hair rings! I'd really recommend you give it a try... It is amazing and you would definitely believe me when you try it.
