John Frieda Full Repair® Strengthen & Restore Range

With my John Frieda hair journey coming to an end, I can confidently say that I love the hair range. The range has completely moisturised my hair and reduced my frizz. My favourite product of the range is the deep conditioner. It smoothes my hair and adds so much shine.

My routine consists of shampooing my hair, detangling with the conditioner and then I will either leave the hair masque on for 30mins-1hour or overnight with a shower cap on.

Overall the shampoo is not stripping and the conditioner and masque is really moisturising and strengthening. I would definitely buy the range in the future.

Arrival of products (2 October 2017)
I received my gorgeous looking shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner today. First off this packaging is gorgeous , the black and red containers are eye catching and the products smells great! My hair has been chemically processed and heat damaged- how hurtful. The texture of the product is so smooth.

Week one ( 9 October)
After a week of use this product is heaven on earth (no exaggerating) the product is light weight and does not weigh down your crown and glory. The John Frieda full repair and strengthen shampoo, conditioner an well as deep conditioner contains Inca Inchi oil- The only hair care product to contain this oil. As a 'natural' it's great to have a quality sulfate shampoo and conditioner to remove all that build up, John Frieda is the one!

My wash routine:
*First off I massage some natural oils into my scalp.
*Wet hair underneath the shower (Wherever you prefer)
*Once wet, use the John Frieda shampoo (wash twice- preference)
*Once I wash the shampoo out completely I then add the John Frieda deep conditioner (Masque) to my hair- comb through starting from your ends and work my way up to the scalp. Leave in your hair for 2-5 min.
*Wash out the deep conditioner then apply the John Frieda conditioner- comb through once again- then I wash out the conditioner from hair .
*Styling soley depends one preference.

Normally I wear my hair in it's natural state. My hair feels so soft and smells lovely. I have no complaints.

Week two (16 October)
I genuinely love the deep conditioner! my hair is so sleek . I heat styled my hair and my curls were locked in for about 3-4 days without hair spray- I was amazed with the natural shine and bounce my hair had.

Week three (23 October)

I am absolutely obsessed with the hair range. My hair feels softer and more moisturised and my curls more defined. I still cannot get over the scent of the products and how I don't need to use alot of product to achieve my desired hair look. The product I cannot get enough of is the hair masque. I leave it on my hair much longer than it needs to be due to dyeing my hair blonde. It softens my hair completely, adds shine and takes away my frizz.

Strengthened & Restored hair in just one week? - The John Frieda Full Repair range reviewed.

To be completely honest , when I first opened my package with my John Frieda products , I was skeptical..
Full Repair it read on the black & red bottles. I was eager to see if this was in fact true. You rarely find products that tend to do EXACTLY what the description says it's supposed to do, but in this case, Mr. John Frieda, whomever he may be , told the truth!

Not only does my hair feel stronger, smoother , and smell great , it also has more volume and more life than before.
I use the shampoo & conditioner in the shower , and keep the deep conditioner in my hair over night and rinse in the morning. This routine gives me the best results.

I have colored treated hair , so it's important for me to take extra caution when choosing the right products that will benefit my hair the absolute most. I am going to keep using the Full Repair range for a couple more weeks before giving my final thoughts on the product.
But after the huge difference it has already made to my hair , things are looking up, and more bouncy. :) ( I just made my first hair joke) xoxo

My first impressions and first week using the John Frieda full repair has been amazing.

I use the products in its natural order and use warm water throughout to really open up my hair follicles. The shampoo is not stripping at all yet it cleans my hair perfectly, the conditioner is so moisturising and I only needed a dime size for each section of my hair to fully detangle it. Im obsessed with hair masque, it really smooths out and adds so much needed moisture to my hair. I do leave the masque on much longer than it requires due to my hair being naturally curly and dried out from dyeing it a lot.

The smell and texture of the range is absolutely amazing. I thought that the product wouldn't be enough for the amount of hair that I have but i'm now sure that it will last a while due to a little product going a long way. All in all, my hair looks, feels and smells amazing, I have less frizz in my hair and I can see more definition in my hair texture.

So a week ago I received the John Frieda Full repair range to try out & review!

The packaging of this product is more on the elegant vibrancy side. The bottle itself being red & black with a transparent cap, for Me it ultimately compliments the packaging , and with the John Frieda hair care you are quick to recognize their products as they are so beautifully and uniquely packaged!

One of the things I noticed just from opening the lid was the heavenly sent! I absolutely love the smell of this range , it is very lightly sented and leaves your hair not only feeling fresh but smelling amazing! ( I’d buy this range just for the smell to be honest)

Week 1 :

I ultimately love love love this range! So back when I was 16 I decided to dye my hair turquoise, which may have looked amazing but it lead to dull and damaged hair in the long run as well as the use of straightens , curling irons and blow dryers my hair lost its radiance - but don’t fret because this product has absolutely revived my hair , from root to tip it’s made my hair look and feel more smoother , Raident and stoft , once again with a fresh smell to it , if I had to describe the smell it would be a very floral- perfume kind of smell ( I promise you’ll love it , it is is not overpowering like most hair products and doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry )

Week 2:
This range has beat all the other hair care products I’ve tried, from high end to drugstore! I am completely Inlove ! - I must say out of the three the deep conditioning masque is my favorite, I know that if my hair needs a quick pick me up this product will come to my hairs rescue! All in all this range is definitely my new Top fav and I highly recommend this range! As mentioned you can find this range ( and many others from the John Frieda line) at Your local Clicks at a very reasonable price! So whats you’re excuse ? Go out and see the magic happen on your own hair !!
The range came with a shampoo , conditioner and hair masque - all which are must haves , after my first wash I immediately noticed a difference in the texture and look of my hair , it was as if my hair came back to life ( I’m aware that sounds weird but that’s the best way to describe it )

The shampoo washes my hair brilliantly ( I’m sure this is the cleanest my hair has been in months ) I normally put a bit of the product in my hand and then massage it into my scalp ( not forgetting the back of the head by the neck which most people don’t pay attention to)

The conditioner I normally only apply to my ends as that’s where it is needed the most and can I just emphasize how soft my hair felt when combing through it in the bath!

The deep conditioner is my ultimate holy grail , I know that if my hair is ever in a lifeless state I can pop that on and rely on it to restore my hairs raidence and health!


All in all I’m Inlove with this range , John Frieda definitely knows what they’re doing! I would highly recommend this to anyone who has even remotely damaged / lifeless hair - I am so thankful to have stumbled upon this item thanks to Beauty Bulletin !

It's bold, it's striking and it's strong looking - exactly the qualities I want to see in my hair! The John Freida Full Repair Range looks absolutely fantastic and how amazing is it to have a repair range? The fragrance is just to die for! I am always looking for way to strengthen my broken and brittle hair! So this looks like the perfect solution!

Week 1:
It has been 1 week since I started using the John Frieda Full Repair Range and I must just say that even after the very first time I used this range, I was absolutely gobsmacked at the condition of my hair! My hair has honestly never felt so soft and so great in a very long time! My friends and family has even commented on my hair and how radiant it is looking lately! I have never used a repair range on my hair that has made such a noticeable difference! I full definitely be re-purchasing this range over and over again, that is for sure!!

Week 2:
I cannot stress enough how amazing my hair feels right now! I am totally gobsmacked at how much healthier my hair is looking and feeling! I have been receiving non stop comments and compliments about my hair! So the results are totally noticeable! Since I first started using this product, I see fewer split ends in my hair and my hair is no longer dry and brittle looking! It is amazing! Obviously my favorite is the Deep Conditioning masque because my hair feels most soft and fresh after using it!

I have finally posted up my final Review on the John Frieda Full Repair Range.
I am exceptionally impressed and totally taken aback at how this product has helped my damaged hair. Everything about this range is just fabulous, The price, the smell, the convenience, the results... 100%!!!!

We all know what a long and damaging process dying your hair can be. Especially if you have naturally dark hair, and my hair has been a victim of it who we shall not name... (its bleach) one too many times.

Very few people know that my hair is still in recovery from constantly bleaching it a few years ago. It got so bad that I decided to shave my hair for a fresh start. Otherwise I've been hiding the damaged ends and dryness buy constantly using black Henna on my hair, which is actually not good for your hair in the long run. But I'm tired of hiding the damage with temporary solutions, so I am using the John Frieda Full Repair kit.

The kit comes with A full repair shampoo, A full repair conditioner & A full repair hair mask.

The slick red design and perfume like scent first caught my attention & I was very eager to wash my hair.
When applying the shampoo and conditioner for the first time, the perfume like scent filled the air. The texture is silky smooth and spread through my hair with ease. Using the Full Repair hair mask was my favorite part. For me, using hair masks is such a rare treat. It's like a spa day for my hair. I do wish that the bottles were bigger as I have a jungle of hair and I apply a lot of product at once for full coverage.

But I am very excited to continue using the product & I cannot wait to see the end results.

So! Week 1 after using the Full Repair Products! I normally straighten my hair after I wash it (because my hair lasts longer) which results in my hair reeking of burnt fur! But, my hair still has that perfume like scent even after I straightened it which has been the best part of this experience for me so far! My hair looks and feels so lush.

Week two of using the John Frieda Full Repair kit:
Because I have incredibly thick hair I normally only need to wash my hair every 5/6 days, however after using the John Frieda Full Repair kit for the second time my hair has lasted up to 8 days! That's 8 days of visibly lush & poofy hair. My hair feels thick & luxurious. The Full Repair hair mask is my new best friend! The container says to leave on for 2-5 minutes but I leave the mask in for about 20 minutes if not longer if I can! (Shhh... I'm a rule breaker) Can I also just point out that someone at work commented on how lovely my hair smelt a week after I washed my hair! How incredible is that!? Normally the scent of the products disappear after you style your hair. So far I am more than pleased with the results & I am looking forward to sharing my end result & final video review with you guys!

2nd week update

The range has added so much volume to my hair which looks great especially when I wear my hair in my fro, big hair don't care.

The full repair range has made it less of a mission to comb my hair after washing it. It detangles easily and there's fewer breakage which I totally love because my hair is weak and breaks easily.

I've noticed after my last wash that my ends changed colour. Now my hair used to be blonde but I dyed it black 3 months ago ( biggest regret) and now I'm trying to understand what's happening, I'll keep y'all updated.

So far ( besides the colour changing) I've been enjoying the range on my hair.

1st WEEK IMPRESSIONS

I usually wash my hair once a week because I'm pretty lazy and washing my hair takes forever guys but I've made a pledge with myself to wash my hair at least twice a week for the purpose of this review.

Guys my hair looks so healthy I can't even deal! My hair usually looks all dry especially my ends (split end problems) when I wear my hair in a fro, so I decided to wear it in a fro today to see if there's any improvement and there is guys!!! I've only had two washes so far and my hair feels and looks healthier than ever before.

My current favourite would be the deep conditioner thus far.

Tip: After using the shampoo and conditioner, apply the deep conditioner and go about your business. It leaves your hair soft, smelling great and it's perfect for a wash and go look.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I've been a natural head for over two years and its been a long ass journey, and over time my hair got damaged. I used to straighten my hair often so that caused most of the damage and the fact that I'm a lazy ass who can't stick to hair routines contributed a little lol.

The John Frieda Full Repair range has 3 products:

1. John Frieda 250ml full repair strengthen & restore shampoo
2. John Frieda 250 ml full repair strengthen & restore conditioner
3. John Frieda full repair strengthen & restore deep conditioning masque

Usually when washing my hair the conditioner would be the holly Grail between the two, mainly because it leaves my hair soft, easy to detangle and smells Devine. Now all of that switched up with the John Frieda full repair range, while I was applying the shampoo onto my hair I immediately felt the difference. With some of the previous shampoos I've used, I've noticed how it tends to leave my hair super dry and vulnerable to breakage. With the John Freida full repair shampoo my hair was soft and felt extremely moisturized (it felt like I legit used conditioner instead of shampoo)
I love how thick the conditioner is,it saves product which indicates that a little goes a long way. All of the products have the same tropical smell which I love.
The John Frieda full repair deep conditioner is so thick which makes it super easy to apply and it has my hair smelling AMAZING!!

I love the packaging of the products, however I do wish the containers were 500 ml instead of 250 ml. I guess I'm just greedy lol.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the colour hair trend unfortunately I was a victim to the trend , that is right VICTIM! I bought my own dye kit and tried to get my hair to ash blond and after a failed attempt went to the hairdresser to save it and decided to go blue , from there on it was down hill . My hair was so damaged from all the chemicals . Not mention my smart ass relaxed it as well . My hair began to fall out and I had to resort to chopping it . With the help of @beauty_bulletin and @johnfriedasouthafrica I will be able to restore my hair. Week 1
The excitement is real I can finally get my hair into a messy bun after cutting it . One week of using John Frieda Full Repair I'm so happy with the results my hair feels so much better , it is extremely soft and has more volume and smell of perfume and flowers . I love having hair that smells so good !!

Week 2
My hair is so soft and light and full of volume , it looks health and strong . The smell of the products lasted about 2 days in my hair , which is excellent considering the fact I use my own products whos smells usually over powers most shampoos and conditioners .

Week 3
So it's the end of my review trail but def not the end of journey with John Frieda . I am incrediably happy with the results in such little time my hair is healthier stronger , the product is a little pricy but I always take into consideration you get what you pay for . I would definitely repurchase the product . I found my new hair savior . If your hair is broken damaged and you have tried everything and nothing has worked this is def the product for you
