Talk about a good looking shampoo and conditioner. I fell involve with the packaging and who doesn’t want a beautiful expensive looking shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t hurt your wallet. Ive never heard of John Frieda before and after receiving their products from Beauty Bulletin I decided to visit Clicks with little to no expectations only finding out that this brand carries a wide range of hair products that are beautifully presented and smells amazing. Their products range between R109 - R149 which is such value for money without compensating on quality.
The first thing i judge any product on when buying it in store is the smell. This shampoo and conditioner has a fresh clean citrus smell to it which I love. I used the smallest amount with my first time using this brand and I was surprised that a little goes a long way. The shampoo lathers beautifully and cleans your hair better than most shampoos Ive used. I normally go about 3 days in between washes and with this shampoo I pushed it to 4 days which means it kept my hair cleaner for longer.
I love a silky squeaky clean feeling to my hair so a creamy conditioner is a must for me. Because I have a lot of hair I had to use a little bit more conditioner but nothing unusual for me. I love how a little goes a long way with this specific product and brushing out my hair took little to no effort. I put the conditioner to the ultimate test and didn’t brush my hair for two days… I was pleasantly surprised by how silky and detangled my hair was after using the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hi-Impact conditioner.
I usually rough dry and curl my hair as I’ve demonstrated in my review video and after using this product my hair is so much more manageable and easy to work with which is a plus for having very fine hair that knots easily. I don’t have too over processed hair but the shampoo and conditioner definitely brought a little bit of life back into my hair after my recent salon visit. The only thing I don’t like about the product is that its not sulphate free, I really want to steer away from sulphate products as it tends to dry out the hair but its safe to say that after 2 washes I didn’t see any drying out of my hair, and would recommend this product to anyone looking for that hi-impact silky soft healthy looking hair, I’m in love with the results.
