Johnson’s® Vita-Rich Papaya Body Care Range

I generally have dry skin, more so in the winter! And this winter has been no exception. I would like to find a body lotion that is really hydrating and doesn't leave a sticky residue. I would like my daily moisturiser to be light and silky soft, something that smells fresh and feminine. Apon receiving my Johnson's hamper of body washes, soaps and body lotions I was very impressed with how they look. The packaging is bright and colourful, clean and fresh looking. The sizes of the products look ideal to keep in your bathroom vanity, shower or even chuck into your bag for a weekend away! Each product smells unique and is pleasant and inviting. The lids on both the body was and body lotion are easy to open and also close properly so I wouldn't be afraid of it messing in a bag if I pack it in for a trip. Overall I'm very excited to use the products and see what results I get!

Upon receiving these beautiful goodies, this was the first i touched. The aroma's left me feeling in aw.

Body Wash: I am a fan of body wash products and by far this is the best ever. The product gets me to take a shower even when i don't need to just to bask in its fragrant aroma. I love that this product is so long lasting that my husband can smell me from a mile away. It lathers well and the foamy feeling is heaven. My favorite was the one with the Papaya extract.

Body Soap: I use this as my daily facial soap and it leaves my face feeling and looking rejuvenated and hydrated with radiance. Like other soaps tend to dry my face but this left it moisturized and feeling great! My favorite was the one with the Berry extract.

Body Lotion: Now for the icing on the cake! after trying this i don't go anywhere without it. What i love is it does not leave the skin oily or greasy and it absorbs well and the smells are so intense it last quite long, you would swear your wearing a expensive perfume. My favorite was the one with the Rose water extract.

These came in such a pretty packaging it was highly adorable. These are so affordable and I'm pretty sure many of you ladies will give them a go and tend to love them as much as i do.

First impression on Vita-rich body care range

Vita-rich replenishing body wash: The first thing that I noticed about the body wash was the lovely aroma that instantly hits your senses. This was enough of an introduction to get me to hop in the shower and indulge in these beautiful aromas, it seemed as though the Papaya body wash was the first to lure me into it’s beautiful scent. With each having their own scent, varying from Raspberry, Papaya and rose water. It was challenging not to jump into the shower several times the day I received the Johnson’s Secret body care range. I love a good body wash that lathers and foams up as this one did, it was soothing but left me feeling fresh and my skin moisturized after the first wash.

Vita-rich replenishing soap bar: What I loved is that Johnson’s managed to carry through each of the aromas into the other products as well. The soap bar was also an instant hit with me. I find I use soap bars more often than body washes although I love both. This one in particular lathered up beautifully whilst it’s subtle aromas filled up the air around me. Not leaving my skin feeling dry or cracked due to its protecting oils.


Vita-rich replenishing body lotion: Fast absorbing, non-greasy, with continued moisture throughout the day was my first impression of this lotion, and again with the beautiful aromas hugging my skin. Short and sweet, the body lotion ticked all the boxes on first use.

Thoughts and results

I feel that the Vita-Rich Range fulfilled most of what it had set out to do. Beautiful and indulgent aromas with 24 hour hydration? Who wouldn’t want that in a bottle.

I was pleasantly surprised that the lotion was so moisturizing as lotions tend to absorb quickly but still leave the skin feeling dehydrated. That wasn’t the case here, as I mentioned in my video, I had applied this product just before bed and woke with my skin still feeling moisturized, although the aroma didn’t last on my skin, it didn’t stop me from wanting to open the product just to bask in the beautiful papaya scent.
Overall my skin felt smooth and moisturized but non-greasy, Healthy, glowing and revitalized. I would say this Johnson’s Vita-Range is value for money and will surely become a staple in many homes.

Opening the package, I immediately got a waft of delicious scents thus drawing my attention and piquing my interest.

The process of unpacking the container allowed me to admire the beautiful, sleek packaging of the contents. The design of the products maintains a beautifully crafted uniformity between each variant while using subtle changes to create a unique feel to each item that highlighted the main feature of each individual product. This is achieved with slight changes in the colour schemes of the packages (lids of the moisturiser was different from the shower gel) and in the imagery used for the labels.

Popping open the lids, I immediately felt approval surge forth as a hint of subtle but gorgeous fruity, flowery and delicious scents that wafted through the air around me. The products surprised me by the luxurious feeling they encompass. The scents create the feel of a pamper day while also refreshing and revitalising one’s mind.

I used the Smoothing Papaya Extract Shower gel and body lotion for the first time. I was immediately blown away. The shower gel smelled wonderful and left me feeling clean without drying or leaving my skin feeling tight like some soaps and shower gels do. My skin felt smooth, soft and moisturised while the scents remind me of a tropical holiday turning my bathroom into a quick getaway from reality.

I followed the stress relieving shower with a pampering session that came in the form of the body lotion. Once again I was left awestruck and speechless by the quality of the product. It melted into my skin, like ice cream on a hot pavement, leaving behind a smooth and silky feeling to the skin. An added bonus was the healthy glow on my skin that lasted for the rest of my work day.

Definitely worth repurchasing. Fast becoming a favourite of mine.

Firstly and this goes without saying-I am a huge fan of Johnson and Johnsons products-they are nice and delicate on my dry and sensitive skin!I have been using the day/night cream for dry skin,the makeup wipes (on myself and my clients) for years now.I used to use there 3 in 1 makeup cleanser but alas it has gone off the market!

I am just obsessed with this range of products! I got to try afew of the different scents but my favourite was definetly Papaya.The Papaya range is super soft,smooth and smells incredible!I use the soap and body lotion daily-especially as my dry skin craves some moisture!The product isnt sticky and absorbs into your skin almost immediately.
