I bought this a while back in the long search to find something that will remove scars and stretch marks. It certainly lightened any new scars that I developed however I didn't see any results when applied on older scars or stretch marks.
This however is a really good oil for nourishing and hydrating the skin.
I enjoyed applying it as soon as I got out the shower as it absorbed deeply in the skin and kept it moisturised all day long .

Since bitten by mosquitos in December, I have been battling with the scars left behind to heal. My regular tissue oil has become too expensive so I decided to invest some R 70 in a new tissue oil. Johnsons is very mild on my skin and does not leave it feeling like it was soaked in grease. My scars have improved substantially since using it for a month now and its uses does not stop there. Use it for dry skin, heels, knees, elbows and even dry hair, the possibilities are endless.
I love the fact that it's a spray on application which prevents a mess and you control the amount you want to apply.
Keep this one handy as winter is approaching girls.

I expected more from this product! I found the oil thin n runny often the bottle would be covered in oil! I did not like the fragrance although subtle at all! I saw no improvement in my skin at all! Being Johnson's i had hoped for so much more!

Johnsons is one of those brands you know you can trust because you have been using them for years.
This tissue oil is definitely something I would repurchase. It is incredibly affordable and over time, it does help with scarring and pigmentation. You cannot expect it to work over night but if you use it repetitively over a few months, you will see a difference.
You can also add a few drops to your bath for silky and soft skin :)

I find that this tissue oil is much better than Bio-Oil but does not have the greatest scent.

This tissue oil is good to use for dry skin and extra moisturisation. I'm not too fond of the scent but I like to use a few drops with my usual moisturiser just to add some extra moisture to dry areas.
It is well priced compared to most tissue oils but I'm not sure if it is as effective. It certainly moisturises but in my opinion does not do as good a job as Bio-Oil. I might be biased as I have used Bio-Oil for a very long time and trust the brand but to give a genuine opinion, I don't think the quality matches up to Bio-Oil. I think this would be great for someone who needs that extra moisturisation and it has an affordable price-tag. I only bought a small bottle and did not test it long enough on my scars to see the results, but will rather keep buying Bio-Oil.

We all want to get rid of nasty scars and stubborn strechmarks, and Johnson’s Pure Tissue Oil is a great alternative to the more expensive brands. It’s great for use in the bath, as a conditioning oil and for relaxing massages! This is a multi-tasking product that you can use anywhere and everywhere! I love to apply it after a day in the sun, or during the dry winter months. This tissue oil contains Soybean Oil, which is known to be an effective moisturiser that leaves your skin soft and supple! I definitely notice the difference in the appearance of scars, and very impressed with the overall results. Highly recommended.
