There is only one word I would use to describe this balm – ‘cute’.
It is perfect for the average teen girl. Not only is the packaging geared towards teens, but so is the product itself.
The bright coloured tubes scream summer fun! The fruity balm, which comes in four variants (Bubblegum Kisses, Summer Melon, Sweet Mint and Strawberry Sorbet), also leaves a hint of colour and a glossy shine on your lips. Plus they smell and taste delicious!
I am also relatively impressed with the balms effectiveness in terms of moisturising my lips. At one stage they were extremely dry and cracking. After two applications the dry skin was basically gone.
The only complaint I have is that the balm is a bit too saturated or ‘watery’. I prefer thicker balm that doesn’t feel runny or gooey on my lips.
And besides for Vitamin E, the balm doesn’t really offer any fancy extras, such as UVA or UVB protection. However, for R19.99 it is a great buy.
