This lipgloss is made of a non-sticky, hydrating formula that makes lips feels soft and smooth. Even with dry lips like mine, this lipgloss is hydrating enough to keep my lips feeling soft and smooth. It is in no way a moisturiser, but it definitely does not dry out my lips which is a good thing. This lipgloss is very shimmery, hence “diamant” but it is definitely not gritty at all like MAC’s SuperDazzle lipglass.
The formula is very easy to apply with the patented heart-shaped wand, although I do prefer brush applicators. There is a sweet fragrance to the lipgloss, which smells the same as the previous collection of Glam Shine Lipglosses. It doesn’t bother me, but if you prefer no fragrance then you might not like this lipgloss much.
This lipgloss doesn’t have the lasting power as the new Revlon Superlustrous lipgloss, but it’s definitely a trade-off between stickiness and lasting power. L’oreal’s Glam Shine lipgloss is not sticky at all, but does not last long on your lips especially if you eat and drink (which is expected with most lipglosses unless you buy sticky ones like MAC’s lipglass).
