LUX (Body Wash and Soap)

This scent takes me places - I love it. I have tried others in this range, but this particular one is the best! The yummy scent lingers all day long. If you are into smelling like a cupcake all day long - you will enjoy this one!

This soap bar is so beautiful to just look at , so much care and thought was given in to the design . The fragrances are fantastic , they cleanse skin and just leave you feeling so luxurious .

I love the body wash , the fragrances are strong and long lasting . They linger on your skin for much longer than regular body washes. It keeps skin soft and hydrates , doesn't dry out the skin and just leaves me feeling so pampered .

And they are both really inexpensive , even on sale they go for an absolute steal .

I love the packaging on the bottle as it is a squeeze mechanism that prevents wastage .

I recently made a change from shower gels to soap bars, due to financial and environmental reasons, and I must say I am very happy with my decision.

The soap bar has a beautiful design that radiates elegance, with a scent to match. The clean, yet fragrant scent leaves you feeling fresh and beautiful. Only drawback is it leaves that typical 'soap bar' feeling on your skin. But that forces me to moisturize afterwards, which is a good thing really.

The product is so inexpensive, lasts months and is very foamy - something I look for in a soap. My absolute favourite.

Personally I also prefer using a body wash or shower gel to a normal soap bar. Lux have some really good smelling body washes, they quite cheap and last a long time :)

I was sent the Lux Soft Caress Softening body wash & bar of soap.
Let me start with the body wash first: I LOVE this product!!! Beautiful fragrance, it lathers really well & leaves my skin soft & beautiful.
The soap bar on the other hand, I'm not a fan of... But it's a personal thing, I don't like soap bars, I find them a bit unhygienic... The soap looks beautiful though, with such pretty flower details. I found after a few weeks the bar is cracking & looks quite dirty... Like I said I don't like soap bars. Also it's a little bit too creamy... Feels more like it's moisturising than cleaning my skin - if that makes sense.
So my overall feedback is: LOVE the body wash!!! Have even bought a second bottle :)

I have been a long time user of LUX body wash products, and my favorite has always been the Burnt Brown Sugar, Karite Butter & Almond Extract Body Wash and Soap, so this wasn't a new product for me. I love the delicious rich scent of this product. It really is quite decadent. My skin is left feeling silky and smooth, proving that LUX is truly a luxurious product.

The LUX Shake Me Up Soap was a product I've never used before. I love it's clean, crisp, fresh scent. I prefer to use this soap in the mornings because the mint and cucumber while refreshing is also quite invigorating.

I will always be a fan of the LUX brand of products, and even though a like to switch it up a little, changing my body wash between Evenly Beautiful, Wake Me Up, Sheer Twilight and Scarlet Blossom, which are my personal favorites.

I like the smell of lux, since I was young I have been using it.

Beauty Bulletin was kind enough to send me a Lux body wash and 2 bars of Lux soap to try out.
This green bottle of body wash is the best thing since body wash was invented! It contains mint and cucumber. It smells AMAZING and feels like silk on my skin. The mint in it makes me feel so fresh and wonderful.
1 of the bars of soap is also a mint and cucumber which is also great but I do prefer the body wash. The 2nd bar is Scarlet blossom and it smells so pretty with the Egyptian cilet and Elemi oil!
I prefer body wash to soap bars but they're all really lovely and I would recommend it to anyone

Being a mom to a teething three month old, is no simple task and usually leaves very few moments to myself. I have traded my long, hot baths for quick showers and hope that perhaps this time around, I will get to sneak in a shave, too! (If I am so lucky!)

LUX has proven that with their new divine range, (sent from the heavens, itself) you no longer require a full hour long bath to feel radiantly beautiful.

I was sent the Evenly Beautiful exfoliating body wash, the Evenly Radiant and the Velvet Touch bath soaps.

Evenly Beautiful (for evenly gorgeous skin) Body Wash
I should be considered the expert in exfoliating body washes, because I love them so much! I was eager to give this one a try as it has a unique scent: With Burnt Brown Sugar, Karite Butter and Almond Extract.

My first impression is wintery heaven! Seriously, this is my winter captured in a bottle. The smell is luxuriously indulgent, with a sweet scent. I had to stop myself from wanting to eat it all up. When you pour the body wash out, it is extremely thick and almost “sticky” just like burnt sugar! I love that it is gold in colour as I have started referring to it as liquid gold, or the soap of Gods.

If you use the body wash directly on your body, I find that it is great to massage and spread all over. The exfoliating beads are gentle enough to use on the daily basis and with being winter here, I find it essential to use an exfoliating wash daily to help remove dead skin cells and repair damaged skin. The almond extract and karite butter helps by putting lost moisture back into your skin, while the almond extract doubles up by evening out blemishes.

Evenly Radiant and Velvet Touch Soap Bars

Just like the exfoliating body wash, the evenly radiant bar of soap is addictively sweet and a pleasant treat.

Velvet Touch has SilkEssence, Almond Oil and Opulent Bouquet. Compared to the evenly radiant bar, this one smells a lot more like flowers. It is rich and creamy on the skin, a welcomed feminine scent that will appeal to the ladies who aren’t so crazy about smelling as sweet as the above mentioned products.

All of the LUX products are amazingly moisturising, they provide all day care and with these bars, I find you hardly ever need to use a body lotion – they are THAT good!

I may not get all that long to shower, these days. But thanks to LUX’s amazing, long-lasting fragrance range, I get to indulge & relive the luxury spoils for hours later.
