MAC Haute & Naughty Lash

Confession: I have never been this in love with a mascara before. Me + Haute & Naughty = forever-ever!

The stand-out feature is that you get 2 mascara wands. The wand with the pink handle is perfect for creating long, fluttery and defined lashes, while the wand with the sparkly purple handle gives a chunky, dramatic look.

I like my lashes looking thick and full whether it's day or night, so I use both wands to create my desired effect. I use the pink-handled wand to lengthen and separate my lashes, followed by the chunkier sparkly-handled wand to bulk up my lashes. If there are any clumps, I go back in with the first wand to comb them out.

I also use the first wand on my bottom lashes for a softer, wide-eyed look.

Yes, the formula is very thick, but if you're smart and make use of both wands, your lashes will be drama-packed but clump-free. Ultra-black, no flaking or smudging and amazing lasting power: What's not to love?

I'm just in love with these MAC mascara prices. For some reason I always thought that they would be ridiculously expensive but to my surprise, the prices just make me want to buy the entire collection.

So the thing I love about the Haute & Naughty Lash is the fact that you're getting a 2-in-1. The bristles on the wand with the pink handle immediately tell me that I'm going to get pefectly combed through lashes. Think of it as a prep before packing on the product for added volume.

Enter in the second wand. This wand with the glittery purple and pink handle screams volume. Ah, YES PLEASE! I love my lashes thick and clumpy so this one will be getting a lot of use out of me!

Absolutely my favourite mascara! It is a 2 in 1 product offering va va voom lashes! i do however struggle with the mascara being clumpy amd it ends up looking as though I have 3 extra thick lashes instead of the many that I do. Great product though!

This Mascara is absolutely True Magic! In the beginning, I thought that there was two mascara wands but in actual fact, its One. With the Pink wand - it uses less product and longer wand and the Glitter Purple wand uses much more product but shorter wand.

The "first" wand (pink) is for a day time look, very defined, longer lash look. The "second" wand (glitter purple) is for a dramatic look, more product for thicker and longer lashes.

When using the (Pink) wand, apply from bottom lash bed upwards - gives you the longer lash effect.

When using the (Glitter Purple) wand apply from the top and curl out. I usually use both methods with this wand.. To double the effect!

*Fault: With any mascara, it can become clammy if you apply too much product. So be careful when using the Glitter Purple wand, a lot of product is distributed.

All in all, this is a great investment for your make-up bag!!

This is definitely my favourite mascara! It gives my lashes great lift and volume and makes them look incredibly long. The trick with this mascara is to first use the purple glittery brush and then to go over that with the pink brush. By doing this, you are separating your lashes and getting rid of any clumps. I haven't found any smudging or flaking with this mascara. It does cost a bit more than other mascaras but I am more than willing to pay for such a great product!

I think the packaging of this drew me towards it at the mac counter. After trying it out though, its more than just a pretty pink and purple mascara.
Both wands work beautifully and your mascara lasts all day.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara! Firstly, the packaging is cute and funky. I really like the purple glitter for the drama wand - just the best for whipping out of your handbag and making your friends jealous hee hee! The pink wand is for your more demure daytime look - seperates and lengthens, while the purple wand is for your dramatic night-time look! Makes lashes thick, lustrous and long! I wasnt as mad about the demure wand as it is a bit long and unwieldy and I also prefer thicker lashes, but thats just a personal preference. I really found the drama wand worked for me best as I have straight, blonde sticky little lashes and I need drama during the day also!! No little speckles falling off onto the cheeks, but do let it dry as it will leave spots on your eyeshadow if you dont allow a little drying time! It stays put all day and washes off easily at night. I love the way it doesnt clump my lashes despite applying more than one coat at night... although one coat would be fine too, I just LOVE dramatic lashes. It also curls them upwards a bit! This one ticks all the boxes for me and I will repurchase despite the pricetag of R195,00!!!
