In my quest to find products that allow me to get ready for work on time every morning without looking like the Corpse Bride resurrected, I was quite chuffed to find this on the shelves at my local MAC store. Having previously tried the Natural Radiance primer I was a little disappointed to see that I had developed a shiny happy face by mid-morning...emphasis on the"shiny". On the advice of the sales assistant who attacked me with an arsenal of tubes, pots, brushes and probably some of the brush cleaner in her enthusiasm I walked out of the store lighter in pocket but hoping for the best. The summary of the product as described on the bottle is a mix of scientific jargon that even me, with a background in science, couldn't decipher. However, i did pick out words like'oil-absorbing particles' which sounded hopeful. Altogethrr, it's not a bad product. It left my skin smooth and shine-free for a significant amount of time. An added bonus is that it didn't leave my skin with an whitish, ashy cast which i find from a lot of products witha high SPF. Problems - its a bit pricey with the 30ml retailing at R430. Also, the packaging sucks. The tube is very rigid and i foresee myself having a lot of difficulties getting out the last bit of product (for that price i plan onsqueezing out every last drop). You'll be glad to know a little goes a long way so thats a plus.
