I purchased this in NC43.5, i find that it gives a smooth airbrushed finish whether i use it on its own or over my foundation. I find it to be quiet heavy though and would not wear it during the day time, this is perfect for night or if you are looking for a flawless full coverage. It has its pros and cons, but not my personal favourite, but it is definitely something i would reach for in an emergency!
