MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation

I did not enjoy this product, not because it is a bad product, but because it is not well suited for my skin type.

I have oily skin and I am pretty sure this is meant for dry skin. I tried applying it through so many methods, but it just kept breaking up on my skin.

Eventually, I gave it to my mom who has dry skin and it looked superb on her. MAC I love you, but I will not be repurchasing this product again - sorry :(

I got a sample of this foundation while on vacation. My skin was terrible at the time! Red, flaky and patchy. I saw that the consistency of this foundation was gel like and I thought it would be better than other drying foundations. This is just wonderful! It smooths out your skin while providing moisture and tightness relieve. Lasts the whole day and gives your skin a glow! This is the only full coverage foundation that I use! I don't use concealer with this! I gave the price 5 stars even though it is expensive it lasts really long. Dry skinned girls, your search is over!

I've tried a lot of foundation brands and honestly this is my favourite. I have combination skin so the foundation works perfectly. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin though. A little definitely goes a long way with this baby. The only thing I'm not keen about is the price. It's definitely a holy grail for me.

I would like to start by saying that this is not an ideal foundation for very oily skin. It is a gel-based product and I have spoken to many people with oily skin who have said that it literally slides off their skin.

However, it is a complete dream for those with dry skin (such as myself). The price is not ideal - going at R350 for 40 ml of product. It took many months of frustration with cheaper foundations which flaked and caked on my skin before I gave in to spending this amount of money on a 40 ml bottle.
After a few months of using this foundation a couple of times a week, I can honestly say I would pay the price again - and probably will when this tube eventually runs out.
This product definitely lasts. You only need a pea-sized amount for full coverage of your entire face. I am not even half way through this tube yet. I find that it provides coverage on my face for 5 - 7 hours, which is not bad. It does need to be set with a powder to avoid looking shiny and this will also help the wear of the foundation on your face.

It feels like velvet on my skin. Its texture and consistency is perfect and it matches my very fair skin tone perfectly (I'm an NC 15). You should have no trouble finding a shade which matches your skin as MAC provides a wide range of shades in this product (around 45 shades if I'm not mistaken).

I definitely recommend this product for those with dry/normal skin who are looking for full coverage.

With so many foundations on the market, it's tempting to try all & find the one which suits your skin perfectly! MAC Studio Sculpt foundation, is my ultimate favorite, and is perfect for all occasions.. It has complete full coverage and looks best when applied with a beauty blender, for a more natural look, and finished with the MAC compressed powder.. This product is worth a splurge of some savings ;)

I bought this product hoping that the gel-based formula would would better with my skin than regular liquid foundations which I typically hate, including the MAC liquid foundation.

I must say, I absolutely loved this product from the get go. The consistency was good and a little does go a long way. It is build-able while looking natural with any amount of product. If I apply it right, i usually don't even need concealer.
I like the fact that it is in a squeezable tube, which allows you to get more bang for your buck.

Yes, the price isn't ideal, but because it is definitely worth it if you're looking for quality.

LOVE!!!! i wear it everyday as a light make up... mac products are just generally really good. the light texture of the foundation paired with the soft bristles on the mac brush is an experience all on its own. It gives me a little colour (as i look a little pale sometimes)without making me look made up with too much make up. this is really important to me as none of my friends wear any, so having a look that i can wear to varsity is really important.
on the note of price- it is expensive, ive had two bottles so far none of which i bought myself but i still have them. perhaps i am being an idealist but if i have to pay for something that price i expect it to be amazing and to last really long and this product did. a little really goes a long way!

This product does sit all!! For years I've been using Revlon Colourstay foundation (Sorry Revlon) but this Mac foundation gives all my previous foundations a Chuck Norris round nose kick! hehe!

You put this on your face and you feel as if you've literally just added on a baby soft perfect completion! Here are the pluses : It's Hydrating, instantly revitalizes the skin while keeping it looking smooth, soft and plush. Long-wearing and if that's not enough to make you say OH EM GEE it's water-resistant!!

I mean what more could a gal ask for!

( Now I know what your thinking ..EISH! that's a tad on the pricey side.I did too but given the results I've seen there's just no going back for me. It's just one of those purchases you gladly hand over your hard earned money with a smile. :)
