Maybelline Babylips pricing varies according to the packaging. There is a range where there is black inner tube with bright font on the exterior that is more expensive than this original packaging. The prices range from R25-R35 , from what I recall. It is abit pricey for a "lip balm".
I love the BabyLips range and have about 10 (and one of them has been repurchased 4 times) . I mainly buy them because of how cute all of the lippies look in my collection. They are good for short term lip hydration as my lips become dry after a few (1-2) hours, so I have to reapply . The pigmented range is awesome for a natural pop of colour without the lipstick appearance.
I find the clear ones lasts for an even shorter time , so you'll have to keep it on your person to constantly moisturise your lips.
I wouldn't recommend this to people with very dry lips as it would be of no use to keep it hydrated.
