Maybelline Color Sensational Shine Gloss in Electric Orange

Maybelline ColorSensational shine gloss in Gleaming Grenadine is a beautiful lipgloss. I loved the subtle fruity scent of the lipgloss. The colour is also very vibrant and juicy looking, which is always a plus for me.

On application, the shine gloss has a slight red colour to it that is not heavy at all. It gives your lips just a bit of colour while instantly moisturising them. The glossy-ness of the lipgloss is also not oily looking- another plus.

If you are looking for a lipgloss that gives you plenty of colour, then this is not for you. However, if you want juicy looking lips with a slight bit of colour, then this is definitely the lipgloss for you!

Being one of the spring inspired makeup colours, I couldn’t resist trying out Maybelline’s Color Sensational Shine Gloss in Electric Orange.

Thinking that this lip gloss would make my lips appear neon bright, I was quite surprised at how sheer the colour of this gloss was once it was applied. The orange colour is barely visible, making it suitable for just about every skin tone. I do wish this lip gloss was slightly more pigmented though.

The best quality about this lip gloss, in my opinion, is how it feels on my lips. It’s not sticky or heavy at all and is very moisturising. If you are, however, looking for a gloss that’s long lasting, this product isn’t for you. It comes off too easily for my liking.

The packaging is pretty and the applicator is perfect. It doesn’t mess any of the product and makes application easy.

I would recommend this product to nude lip lovers. This lip gloss will add something extra to your look without being over the top. A definite must-have for spring.
