You may remember the Pantone colour of the year for 2015 was Marsala. A deep, reddish-brown shade that makes you think of wine red – beautiful earthy hues that you can bring out in your makeup look.

Well…this year, it is a little different. Pantone has selected its colours (yes there are two – twins) this year, and those colours are Rose Quartz a pale pink and Serenity a soft blue, and of course, there is a limited edition range coming out.

The gods …uhm pros over at Pantone said “it demonstrates an inherent balance between a warmer embrace rose tone and a cooler tranquil blue…” so in short, wearing these two shades will help you find your perfect harmony in life, so you can become the yin to your yang, (that is how we are interpreting it anyway) and we for one are into the idea of having soft colours for a change – away from bold colours (don’t get us wrong, we love it but we are in desperate need for a change).
