Pixi Glow Tonic Beauty Elixir by Petra

I purchased the Pixi Glow Tonic on my recent trip to Germany after seeing amazing reviews online. It seems this brand has a cult following overseas, but unfortunately isn't available in store in SA. I've seen available on some online stores that import it, but obviously it's much more expensive than buying it overseas. When I saw it in a Douglas store in Germany for €21, I knew I had to have it, and let me tell you, it's worth every cent. So much so that I'd be willing to buy it at a higher price just to get it here in SA when I run out.

About the product: the packaging is super cute with a mint green screw-top lid and pinky-orange bottle, it's pretty enough to display on my bathroom counter.
The smell is beautifully fresh and not overpowering at all.
On the first night I used it, I had a slight breakout on my jawline, and I applied the product over my entire face with a cotton round after cleansing. By morning, my breakout seemed less "angry" and vanished completely within the next 2 days. I haven't had a pimple since (I've been using the Glow Tonic every night for around 2 weeks now).
Pixi really does deliver on its "glow" promise... my skin looks clear and radiant! Absolutely love this product and will shout it from the rooftops to anyone who will listen! If you're overseas, buy like, 5 of these! Otherwise, if you're wondering, it's worth the splurge buying it online from SA.

I follow many overseas beauty websites and everytime I travel I usually have a list of products that I have to get because they are not stocked in South Africa, and this is one that will stay a fixture on that list.
I came across this brand a good few years ago when their London store was still based in Covent Garden (it has since moved to Carnaby Street) and being a makeup junkie from then bought a couple of products that I really liked. I started keeping up to date on their products and when this came out it got rave reviews internationally and I knew I had to try it. I have been using it for almost a year now (on and off admittedly), and I love it!

Firstly, the packaging is ever so cute, it's like a bottle of liquid gold on your dressing table. Opening the bottle is a treat too because the toner itself smells so refreshing and almost pure that you can tell you are really doing your skin a favor by applying it. It gently exfoliates and treats your skin, and leaves it feeling fresh and more alive, and I promise within a week of regular use (morning and evening) you will have noticeably more glowing skin. It also helps soothe skin with it's natural ingredient base, and when you're a bit spotty it will help along the healing process, and you will be left with an overall more smoother finished skin.

If you travel and are able to get this product, I suggest you do. Otherwise, order online ladies, it's worth it!
