I don’t know anyone who at one point on their life was not obsessed with white/whiter teeth. From brushing for a little bit longer at night to every teeth whiting potion on the market, I even have friends that have had gum guard things that they sleep with (attractive much?)
I decided in the spirit of Valentines Day coming up to do some research on how to make puckering it up with sparkling pearly whites easy and affordable.
Here are some D.I.Y options I found:
DR Oz’s Potion
You will Need:
Baking Soda (around 1/4 cup of baking soda)
Lemon Juice (from half of a lemon
Method:
Squeeze the fresh lemon juice into the baking soda.
The lemon juice and baking soda solution will bubble.
Dip a cotton ball into the lemon juice and baking soda solution and apply it to your teeth.
Let the lemon and baking soda solution sit on your teeth for around a minute.
Brush your teeth to remove the acid.
What I really like about this one is that it is a fairly natural method as compared with the next one.
Homemade Teeth Whitening treatment:
What you will Need:
-Hydrogen Peroxide
-Regular Mouth Wash
-Baking Soda
-Tooth Paste
Method:
Mix 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide + 1/2 cup of mouth wash
Gargle the mixture for a minute (swooshing it around your mouth)
brush your teeth with a mixture of 1tsp baking soda + toothpaste +1/2 tsp of water
This is Banana’s:
What you will Need:
-Banana Peel
Method:
Rub your teeth with the peel (lol!)
This works because of the potassium and magnesium in the banana peel absorbs into your teeth resulting in pearly whites, Lauren Conrad (love her!) swears by this method.
Ladies who do aren’t in a relationship this VDay please don’t worry about it, do something special for yourself, your BFF, your family, your cat or a stranger. This day can be a very depressing one for the single people out there but if you view it in a different way and show love to the people who are in your life this day will come and go without any looming depressing moments.
