Revlon® ColourStay™ Lipliner

I actually got my 1st Revlon Retractable Lipliner free as part of a combo deal on one of their lip products (which I adore sooooo much). I got it in the colour "Plum" which is a very dark, deep berry colour. I adore wearing very dark Lipsticks so I have been putting it to good use ever since.

I love that it is retractable especially when traveling! The colour payoff is intense and pigmented. I have used it as a lipstick before, just covering my lips with the product and putting over a gloss and it works so well!! When you are wearing darker lip colours, you need it to stay put within the lines and these do a great job of just that.

They are creamy enough to use as a "lipstick" and blend out very well for ombre or softer looks. I need to get a nude in this range!!!

This particular shade is one of my favourite shades as it's the perfect shade to wear daily. It's really easy to pair with nudes and natural shades of lipsticks they also blend well with mauves .
I enjoy liners that are retractable as well as it eliminates the tedious task of sharpening.

The price is about R160 and these lines last you quite a while.

These are awesome lip liners. They have a smooth creamy feel and apply easily. I like that they are retractable as I never like sharpening my pencils.
There are a few colours but each is unique and they blend easily with lipsticks .
I like that they are not harsh on my lips and even if I use them as a filler first allover my lips they don't dry them out .
The lipliner has a nice small nib that's allows you to have good precision when applying.

I wear the nude shade so often, I'm already on my second one. I also have the Fuchsia colour which I purchased specifically for the MAC All Fired Up lippy.

Pros:
Love the staying power and the colours are so beautiful.
The retractable pen is brilliant, no searching high and low for a sharpener.
The liner doesn't fade easily and doesn't dry out my lips
Can be worn as a lipstick
One liner can last you for a few months
Cute packaging (The actual pencil is nifty, doesn't mess and the long top stays put)

Cons:
It's really pricey for a lip pencil but you're definitely paying for quality

Doubles as a lipstick and i actually use mine all over my lip as i haye the harsh line thats visible when my lipstick has faded.
The great thing about these lipliners is they co ordinate with revlon lipstick perfectly enabling you to get a perfect match to any lipstick you select within the range.
Well worth the money for a long lasting groomed face

I'm not a fan of lip liner and hardly ever purchase it, I guess I don't quite like the severe look it brings to my lip but when I find a colour I like ,I buy it. I'm glad I did because the texture of this is so smooth and creamy that I can actually use it as a lipstick. It doesn't bleed or fade. When used as intended it gives nice definition to my lips and stays put on my lipline. The colour I chose is vixen, a reddish/maroon shade. It's quite bold so you would only need to go over your lipline once with it. I'm not too thrilled about the Price though, oh well what to do...
