I recieved this mascara in a goodie bag and have repurchased this product.
I love the design of the smaller wand mascara as well as the plastic bristles (actually more hygienic). The mascara is very light and smooth, and the plus here is that it glides through the lashes and does a great job of coating each individual lash without clumping.
In between the none-in-one fiasco, I came across a sale on Zando.com. This bad boy was selling for ZAR75.00. Yeah where do I send this money to? Market price ZAR149, selling price R105? Please I insist take my money.
Yeah baby, add some drama to these eyes.
Needless to say party people, I wAs feeling some type of way because of the price. Yes it did add drama, some length mxa! Basically it did what I was expecting from the all-in-one mascara. I love how the brush glided over my lashes.
I won't lie, I had some high expectations from Revlon that I didn't find in this product. yah, I thought that if I put it on I was gonna have the wind in my hair and when I blinked it would be accompanied by pixie dust. Just the dust that complemented my brown eyes
I'll give it 3 coconut oil bottles
This mascara can be purchased at Dischem or Woolworths at R149.00
I really liked using this mascara.
It came in a black matte tube with a glossy purple lid ( purple being my favourite colour )
Firstly I'd like to state that I liked the outer design of this product.
Secondly I loved the mascara itself.
The brush itself wasn't too small, but also not huge. I'd say it was about medium. It also had tiny spaces between the bristles making it easier to apply to the shorter, harder to reach lashes undern underneath your eyes.
I'm very picky with my mascara brushes. I have really short lashes and this mascara helped seperate my lashes for a more fuller look without clumping them all up in one big piece.
Thank you so much for choosing me to review this mascara. I was so fortunate, and as mentioned to Desiree, I was about to buy mascara on my way home.
I was lucky enough to choose the ‘Ultimate All in One’ selection from Revlon. From first glance it looks like a normal mascara. I like that the bottle of the mascara is matte, making it feel slightly different and I’ll be able to quickly reach into my handbag or makeup bag without having to look, as the texture would be my first clue.
The brush on the wand looks very tiny compared to the ‘usual’ mascara brushes. Don’t let this underestimate you though… I received this mascara last week Friday, and I have tried and tested it every day since. It’s a mini-oval shaped brush and it gets to each lash
It’s not waterproof, so when I went for my run after work, it smudged the 1st and 2nd time and then I decided to first remove the mascara before starting to run – which is slightly a schlep cos my routine is so strict with time being a main factor (for me personally). I was very interested in this mascara as it claims to volumise, lengthen, define, and lift lashes, while providing intense color, and I loved to see which factor it would like up to… I grew to like the size of the brush, as it was very easy using it on my bottom lashes, so no accidental smudging ?
I’ve used it now for this week and besides the smudging from perspiration, I’m very happy with this mascara. It really defines my lashes and even though I already have long lashes, somehow people noticed it slightly more this week. I can honestly say that I feel (and maybe I need to use it for even longer) but this mascara lives up to what it claims to do. My lashes have more volume, appear curled, doesn’t smudge (if not running) and a definite lift to my lashes as well. Don’t have much to say about the colour, because its black… Works for me
Please excuse the brows, my threading appointment is tomorrow morning *blush*
Revlon has an absolute winner with their new range of mascaras! I love the eye-popping colours and the luxurious, sleek feel of the product in my hand. The wand is thin and the brush is small which is perfect for reaching all the lashes easily. This makes application precise and avoids clumping. Revlon's 'Love is On' range is on point as my 2 daughters and I are totally in love with Revlon's Dramatic Definition mascara. It delivered on its promise of giving us dramatic, defined, classy looking lashes. Well done Revlon!
If you have lashes that do not want to stay up and curled no matter what you try, this mascara will change your life! (Ok, maybe Im feeling a bit dramatic today. "drama"tic? get it? :) )
For the past few years, I've been on the hunt for a perfect mascara that will brighten up my eyes and make me look like I've slept a solid 8 hours during test week. Highly unlikely. I've tried a range of products from the lower end like Essence to the higher end with the "They're Real" Benefit mascara's.
All of them were great when I put them on but throughout the day I just see them reverting back to my natural shape. Even after using a curler to keep that kink in. No such luck.
Until I tried the Dramatic Definition Mascara from Revlon. There haven't been much reviews as its still a relatively new product, so I took a leap and bought it. It is absolutely amazing! The brush has brissels that separate your individual lashes, avoiding any clumps when you try and build on it. The wet formula also helps when applying multiple layers effortless with minimal clumping.
I have the "blackest Black" non-waterproof one and its really easy to remove aswell with minimum lash sacrifices. So no raccoon effect when you wake up in the morning.
I recommend this product to anyone and everyone who wants long lasting dramatic eyes especially students that don't have the luxury to just replace a mascara thats let them and their eyelashes down.
A very good use of that measly allowance we get each month.
Mascara is a beauty staple in even the most basic of makeup bags. It just seems to complete and polish a look.
Depending on your desired effect, it can take a while to find a mascara that does the job you want it to, while taking into account your natural lashes and the best way to show them off. I've found that since I naturally have long lashes, I like to define that length with thinner mascara formulas and precise wands. To that end, I cannot fault the Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara.
It is a 'wet' formula; it's not tacky and so it rarely clumps. It's very black, probably my favourite feature of the mascara and it add serious length to my lashes. It is not a volumizer and so sometimes I feel as though my lashes do err on the "dolly" side but it's a look I personally really like. Another massive pro to this mascara is that it stays put - very often I'll see on myself and my friends that mascara shifts and creates oh-so-cute raccoon rings around the eyes, but this Revlon mascara doesn't budge. Surprisingly, it's actually not hard to remove. When I take it off I use my Garnier Micellar Water and it all comes off on a cotton pad.
I would definitely recommend this mascara should you want to add length and bold definition to your lashes.
