Revlon Photo Ready Foundation

I don't love this foundation but I do quite like it for days when I don't want to use my high end foundation and want just a light Dewey look. This is a light to medium coverage foundation,its a nice consistency and is easily blendable. It has teeny tiny flecs of glitter in it that's visible yet subtle so you won't be glittering like a glitter ball lol. As for the photo ready aspect ,when I use a flash I end up looking like a ghost in my photo's but without the use of the flash it photographs quite well. I will be purchasing it again but not for its intended purpose of making me photo ready but because of the fresh ,natural and Dewey look It gives me and ofcourse for the glitter:p

It is not as long lasting as I would have expected although when I use a setting spray it does stay on for a little longer.

Revlon colourstay foundation is for me is a staple and the most amazing budget friendly foundation there might be out there , so when i bought this one i was expecting the same kind of quality i was used to but .... no not up to scratch.

It did not last long enough and felt very cakey wont be buying this again. Sticking with colourstay

This is one of my favourite foundations of ALL time. I absolutely love it so much. It's quite a "medium to light" coverage but is buildable. It also photographs very well. I can recommend this to any foundation junkie!

I find that this is a really nice foundation, but it hasn't been my favourite. It is great in summer, it applies nicely and looks good. It lasts the whole day and does not run or smudge, and I didn't really have an issue with transference. I am happy that I could find one matched very close to my skin colour, so it didn't look unnatural when applied. I can't say that it is the nicest feeling foundation to wear, but it does look very pretty when I am done with my makeup. I find it looks much better with a translucent loose setting powder over it. However, it is a really sucky foundation for my skin in winter. Instead of a lovely, well put together look that I achieve in summer, this dries my skin out no matter what.

I have been using this base for many years and couldn't be happier. I feel confident in front of the camera and i glow all day long! This product provides 100% coverage and it is oil-free so you get that airbrushed matte finish look. absolutely love this product!

My Mom in law passed her one on to me... not a fan, I found the pump to be a bit messy. I have oily skin and about after 2 hours of wear it looked like the foundation was slipping off my face. Not something I would buy or use. Needless to say I gave it back to her.

Personally not a product that i would use again. It is a good foundation but not for me.

This is an incredibly good product. It has a built in primer whilst it covers imperfections so it stays put all day. Well worth the price and comes in shades that look natural. Great to get that perfect porcelain finish.

This is that one product I would buy no matter what the price is :D

for a person that does not use a foundation on a daily basis.I absolutely loved this product.The light texture and the way it "goes" into your pores giving you a flawless texture is amazing.

Will highly recommend this product to all.

i have been using this product for more than 2 years now and i wil definately noy use another product. This is an amazing product and it makes my skin feel and look smooth

I put this in a dark shade to wear on nights out when I have my fake tan on. It blends very well and doesn"t emphasize dry patches at all. On photographs I have found it doesn"t give me a white "ghost" face like I usually get so it does seem pretty photogenic. The staying power is reasonable but won"t stay put all day. Overall good product, would buy again

I love this foundation! It leaves you with a flawless complexion. It has absolutely no sparkle whatsoever. It has a lovely lightweight feel and applies very smoothly and doesn't dry out my skin at all. It lasts through the day and it doesn't clog my pores.

It gives excellent coverage and I end up using less foundation then I usually would. It gives your skin a nice radiance but I'm not sure if it lives up to the tagline of "Poreless, airbrushed skin in any light". It does however look very natural and the color I got matches my skin perfectly.

It doesn't have that unpleasant smell that ColorStay has and it comes in an easy pump bottle so there isn't as much wastage. I will definitely buy this again and I would also recommend this.

as my skin is dry i found that with this foundation i have to exfoliate at least 2 a week. i found that if my skin is moisturized well, it glides on and melts into my skin. i use with a sponge. i have tried a brush but the sponge seems to smooth it out nicely. i dont find it over "glittery" and love that my dry skin looks dewy and fresh. i find that the foundation makes my skin look better and better the longer i wear it. 5pm in the afternoon and i still look dewy and fresh. it covers my pores and blemishes well. i mix the golden and the nude to get my perfect shade.

I loved Revlon ColorStay Stay Active foundation so I thought I'd give the PhotoReady a try, since many people were raving about it. The PhotoReady comes in a very nice packaging, I prefer this to the ColorStay foundation because the pump is effective and its easy to control the amount of product you want to use. I like the glass bottle it comes in and the dark tinted lid. I feel that together, I'd get the packagaing 5 out of 5.

Now for the product, the product itself has a lighter feel on your skin compared to the ColorStay foundation. But this foundation does not provide as much coverage as the ColorStay. I would say that this foundation is medium coverage only, and not complete coverage like it says on the bottle. There are very subtle glitters that are hardly noticeable when you apply it to your skin. (I can usually see this if I sit right next to the mirror) The product gives your skin a shiny glow for a healthy looking complexion which is great for everyday use, but NOT for photography. Especially since this product does contain SPF 20 in it, it tends to give your face that "white cast" look when you take pictures with flash. (Which kind of contradicts the whole looking great under harsh light advertising). But I still love this foundation for everyday use, because the ColorStay foundation is mattifying, and everyday use will cause it to dry out your skin. The PhotoReady is much better for everyday use. I have dry skin so I don't really need to apply powder, but if you have oily skin, I would definately recommend you to apply a powder over the foundation to reduce the "dewy" look.

The disadvantages of this product is that it does not come in a wide range of colours. I was lucky enough that 008 Golden Beige suits my skin colour fine, but I know people who are to mix colours to get the right colour for them. So definately match this foundation in store before you go ahead and just buy one. The second advantage of this foundation, I have mentioned before and that it is too shiny for photography and may tend to make your face look very white because of its SPF content.

For the price I did'nt get the results. It makes my skin oily and it shows my pores. I'm very dissapointed!!!!!

I like to try new products every now and then to try to find the best fit for me. I bought this as I had read about it in a magazine and thought it sounded fabulous. I was happily surprised to find that it didn't take a big chunk out of my spending money and that a little of it goes a long way! It blends in very easily and makes my skin feel instantly smoother. It is light and non-greasy and even though it doesn't last the whole day, it is certainly one of my favourites.

I got a free sample of this latest Revlon foundation in a magazine, and was very impressed. My skin is very "fussy" with what i use, so i have to be very careful, but this product was wonderful. It gave me the coverage i needed, while still being light and comfortable. I also couldn't find the "perfect" colour for my skin, so i had to buy two which i mix together. All in all, this is an awesome foundation, just maybe not the right one for me.
