Revlon Powder Blush

Quite a lovely powder blush from Revlon. I have it in a shade called 'tender plum'.

It's quite a subtle shade but you will still need just one swipe to achieve a perfect hue . it has just a little bit of shimmer in it and feels really smooth on application.. Perfect for day and night time use. long lasting and affordable.

This nifty little product has been a trusted part of my beauty regime for years now. So I thought it about time to show some respect to one of the best products out there!

I feel like I always start my reviews complaining about my problem skin. But trust me - when you're terrified of breaking out in a hive of pimples each time you use a skin product, you'd understand my fears.

And so along came Revlon's Powder Blush. My colour of choice is the subtle Sandalwood Beige. I once read that the shade of blush you choose should be identical to the colour you turn whenever you're embarrassed. If that's the case, I must be one cute blusher! This colour is gorgeous!

The powder itself has delicate, fine crystals that sparkle on the skin in the sunlight. What's great is that this glimmer doesn't come off as garish or unnatural but subtle and glowing.

Then there's the packaging. Who would've thought that a container so compact would come with a secret compartment? In true 007-style, the tub comes with a clever secret mirror that pops out at the touch of a button.

On the application side, I love that you can control the amount of product that gets onto the applicator brush, meaning you can build up as much or as little colour as you'd like.

I tend to go for a natural, undone look, so this delicate, subtle blusher is simply perfect!

To add a healthy looking glow to your complexion, I would recommend Revlon’s Powder Blush in 20 Sunkissed Rose. It not only adds the right amount of colour to your cheeks for a flirty and natural fluster, but it has a shimmer element which makes your skin look luminous all day long.

I especially love the colour of this blush. It goes well with my skin tone, and isn’t too obvious, but makes a huge difference once it has been applied.

Another aspect I like about this product is the applicator brush that comes with it. It’s soft and gentle on my skin and holds the powder blush well. I also like that the product comes with a mirror inside, so it can be applied on the go.

The only problem I had with this product was that I had to use a lot of the product at once to actually get the powder blush to hold onto the applicator brush. This became a messy process and wasted a lot of the product.

Other than that, the effect I got from this powder blush was great and I would gladly use it again.

can never have enough of blush, so recently I went out and purchased a Revlon Smooth On Blush in the colour Sunkissed Rose. The colour is a beautiful burnt red with a hint of pink and shimmer. This blush as a lovely soft powder texture which I really love. The reason I love this blush is because it gives you that amazing colour, with a simple yet natural colour. The blush is smooth and blends into skin for a flawless and radiant look with a simple streak free application. I've also noticed that the blush doesn't fade and last quite long on cheeks so I don't have to reapply blush at all.

The blush has a small compact which as a blusher brush and a mirror so you can do your make up if you don't have a mirror with you. I would admit that the blush brush is soft and applies the blush perfectly, however I would use an angled brush because it helps me achieve my look better.

I would really recommend you try out this blush! It retails for R159 and is available at most stores. The blush is lightweight and is perfect if you don't like to use heavy make up. The colour is also very natural and soft on skin. It leaves skin looking fresh and natural all day long with a hint of shimmer.
