I generally have dry lips and in Winter they can become very painful and flaky. Therefore, I'm always buying different lip balms in the hopes that they will be nourishing and keep my lips soft without drying them afterwards.
Softlips first attracted me because of its SPF15. It also has a very unique shape in that while most other lip balms are thicker, this one is pencil thin. I discovered that the thin lip balm that is Softlips makes application to the lips easier because it allows for better precision.
The one I bought is a strawberry flavored one with no tint. I get instant relief from the pain of dry lips and the product really absorbs into my lip, making it feel very soft and not just on the surface. While I use Softlips, my lips don't itch at all. Also, I like the cool minty feeling I experience on application. Don't worry, it does not sting.
It is also long lasting so I didn't have to re-apply all the time. It doesn't get rid of flaky lips; for that I have to exfoliate. However, the more I use it, the less flakiness I experience.
Softlips has quite a variety of flavors which I am very eager to try after this very happy experience.
