The New Avon True Colour Makeup Range *FULL REVIEW!*

Good day Beauty Lovers I was very fortunate to have been chosen as one of 5 makeup artist Avon and Beauty Bulletin wanted to send a full Avon package to so I can create looks for YOU guys!!! (thank you sooo much!) "I love the fact that everything comes in a box, this makes it look so professional and classic" So this week has been a bit of a power struggle for me.... literally! Because of City Power, I would start filming a video, or before I start filming the lights would just dim until theres no more light, thus no more power... Our power has been off since Thursday afternoon, and still no luck! *sigh* BUT at least I can blog while visiting family in Heidelberg, and hopefully when going back tomorrow, it will be on and I can catch up on my video making and create some awesome looks that I have planned... So I just thought Id show you what I received and comment quickly on the products I have tried out and started planning my looks with. xxx enjoy! You can also come and reference the products after the videos I've created :) Face products: - Ideal Flawless invisable coverage foundation in both colors: Nude & Creamy Natural "Great product, lasts long, good coverage, blends easily and has a spf of 15 in it. Comes in a glass container with a pump which makes it easy and clean to put some product on either your fingers or brush, feels like silk while blending it, i really like this foundation... one of my new faves!" - Ideal Flawless BB in Nude "Formula smooth and easy to blend, not too oily, so it's great for that everyday look, I also think that you can get away with this one for wearing to school ;D don't tell anyone!" - Ideal Flawless pressed powder "Great for not only setting your foundation, but also to achieve that Matte finish, which I love! It comes with a application puff, so it's really awesome for tossing into your bag to touch up during the course of the day" - GLOW Bronzing pearls "Oh my word! I am a bronze addict, and I can tell you with this product Avon really scored full points in my books! Not only is the packaging very attractive, but the product consists out of little balls you swirl your brush in to pick up gorgeous tones of gold, bronze, copper and brown... I have found my match" Mascaras - Avon Super extend mascara in black - Avon Super extend Extreme mascara in black "I always believe that you should never judge a mascara by the first , second or even third applicaion. For me a mascara's formula only really starts doing what it's suppose to do after about a week and a half of using it, so.... (written on the 13th Sept) : The yellow one is my FAVE!!! I love the way it lengthens my lashes as well as clumps up when I want it to look dramatic!!! It applies very easily and builds up fast, yet is also easy to wash off" :) Eyeliner: Ultra Glimmer stick in black "I have been using Ultra Glimmerstick since 2011 and wow am I a fan! It glides on like a dream, lasts long and helps you practise that cat liner with its fine tip" Kohl eye Liner in black "This was very interesting! And i take off my hat to Avon for thinking about this dual product, it really is easy to use. you can either line your waterline, or use it to create a smokey eye by lining your top and bottom lashline and then smudging it with the cute rubbery tool on the other end! Well done Avon!" Eyeshadows: - True Colour Eyeshadow Quad in jeans "What makes this quad amazing is that the letters are actually "embossed" into the eyeshadows. This is great for makeup beginners and once again a dual sponge applicator that is perfect for applying this if you are a first timer. The only downside is that when you buy this product, make sure you keep the box because only the box tells you where 1 - 4 is located on your eye. But other than that, it has got a lovely colour mixture with blue and purple metallic pigments" - True Colour eyeshadow duo in black star "I did a review on this... if you want to go and watch it... here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TEEn0tWao8 One thing i would definitely like to add is that yes, I complained about the darker colour not being dark enough, even though I must add that this one (black star) is not too bad! But talking to my sister about it the other day, she just said"Yes, but that's what I like, because I dont want it as dark". It made me realise that this is what Avon is! They cater for the everyday woman, the woman who likes wearing minimal makeup, who doesn't like dramatic looks and the woman who can trust her own makeup techniques, and this duo eyeshadow palette is for that woman! " - 8 in one eyeshadow palette in the metallics "This is for the more daring... with 8 different colours from light pigmented to dark, this palette can really help you create any look from every day to date night and dramatic! The packaging of this palette is also very different with a see through window and a sleek finish, i really like it. Even though the palette is called he metallics, I would rather say that the eyeshadows are more shimmery than others" Lips "Just to sum this one up, here I really have no complaints! I have always loved Avon's lip products! and as mentioned in my video review I am totally in love with their new Lipglosses. I also LOVE the lip crayons! It is just so cool and both lip crayons and lipsticks leaves vivid colours behind that moisturises and shines! Making your lips look so healthy and kissable!
